This was an absolute rip off. Dont stay here. The room has one lamp and is very dark. The TV stopped working at 10PM and couldn't watch after that. There is nobody onsite to handle any issues after 9pm. Stay somewhere else. The environment is not family friendly. Alot of street people and doesn't feel very safe. I used to live near PB but it is not the same as it was. This is probably ok for guys that want to party but not suitable for families.

Restaurants and bars are literally a block away. Parking is ample if lucky. Staff at hotel was very kind and professional. Rooms are small but clean. Had 2 double beds on platforms. Scraped a leg, be careful on the corner of bed frames. Great and would stay again.

Fabulous hotel. Staff was very friendly. Boogie boards, towels and beach chairs are available for guest use. Rooms were updated, very clean and include a safe and mini fridge. Location is perfect for dining and shopping options. Bike rentals near by. Will absolutely stay here again.

The Pacific View Inn is a clean and comfortable little gem with an incredible location. The beach is just steps away and restaurants and shopping are within walking distance too. Unfortunately, this is all overshadowed by the fact that there is a thief on staff. On my second day at the hotel, I came back to my room to find that the code I had been using all weekend for the safe was not working. After finally getting the safe open with the help of maintenance, it was clear that someone had overridden my code because cash and gift cards were missing from my wallet. It felt very violating and nothing was done about the situation. If you choose to stay here do not use the safe or trust the hotel staff.

perfect for the price. $110 that’s all I have to say so I’m trying to fill up 200 words stay here and you won’t be disappointed one thing, though there is no parking so you have to scrounge a parking space there’s no icemaker the bed is comfortable

Second year in a row (winter getaway). We've already scheduled again for next year. Manager (both years) very welcoming and accommodating. Modern, clean, beautiful room. Wonderful views. Perfect access to beach.

We arrived at this property to get some time to gathering our thoughts and share memories of our mom passing away. The hotel clerks both days were so very kind. The rooms are very clean and modern. The beach is so close that beach view isn't necessarily needed. Great places to eat, walking distance to Ralph's or CVS. We went to the farmer's market on Tuesday. I'm looking forward to staying there again. It will be our place to stay when visiting San Diego

A hidden gem - great staff and location very quiet clean reasonable price ! We had tacos at the duck dive which is next door and the drinks were fabulous with a short walk back to the hotel you can't go wrong !
