It is a bit far from the urban area and relatively biased. The neighborhood is nice and there is a small park. The room is clean. Easy parking. The overall feeling is good. Worth staying. The front desk service is good.

My mom is allergic to feathers so I asked if we could swap out the feather pillows for hypo-allergenic pillows. We gave the housekeeping attendant the two feather pillows and he returned with one pillow, telling us that the Hilton didn’t have any more non-feather pillows. I suggested, since it was only 4pm on Wednesday, that he exchange the feather pillows with the pillows in an empty guest room, which he did. Mom was cold and when I looked in the closet for an extra blanket, there was none. The housekeeping attendant brought us what had to be the filler from a duvet or, I’m not really sure where it had come from. One edge was roughly cut, like with a scissors completely across the entire “blanket”. The “blanket” was like old foam and was sticking to itself and was disintegrating. We had asked for a balcony so we’d be able sit outside and enjoy room service overlooking the pool. The balcony on our room was barely big enough for a chair pushed in sideways with not even room for a tiny table. Also, the restaurant was closed (they said they haven’t been able to find a chef.) The buffet “breakfast” was only open until 9:30am and as we were on vacation, mom didn’t want to wake up early to rush down to eat, but I went anyway. The scrambled eggs were cold and overcooked. The waffle maker was broken. The bacon was old, cold and too burnt to eat. The server, when he saw that I had left most of my food, gave me a discount (I hadn’t asked for one, so that was very kind). And the final insult was that, even with mom’s handicapped sticker, I had to drop her off in her wheelchair at the hotel entrance, then find my own parking (in a huge open public parking lot) for which I was charged $15 per day!!!

Rancho Bernardo Inn is one of the best resort hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms are high-end and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel breakfast is ordered now. You can also buy coupons at the front desk and have certain discounts. The hotel can rent bicycles for free, as well as golf courses, and it is convenient to go to San Diego Wildlife Park.

Breakfast is a simple bread, sausage, egg and coffee, you can make your own muffins, similar to the motel. However, the point is that you can cook for yourself and have everything you need. It is also owned by Intercontinental. Good service

The room was fantastic! REALLY comfy bed and linens. Quiet hotel. We slept so well! Wonderful shower. I appreciated the little foot rest in the shower for shaving my legs. There was a lack of storage space in the closet yet there were plenty of areas within the room where additional storage could have been added. While the outside balcony was awesome, the door was difficult to work. A coffee maker would be appreciated. We had ice brought to our room but there was no lid on the ice bucket so the ice melted by morning, when we would have liked more ice. We’ll be back. Very convenient location. We were able to walk to The Balboa, Roma Mia and a wonderful nearby coffee shop. The outside area near the bar was closed when we returned from seeing Leanne Morgan. We would have enjoyed having a quiet cocktail outdoors after the show so that was disappointing. Entire staff was EXCELLENT, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

Only stayed here for a night - it was fantastic. The building has its charm being a former bank. I especially appreciate Georgie at the front desk for her help. We stayed on the 18th floor and had a good night sleep. The view was great and the bed comfortable.

The location of the hotel is right in the center of San Diego, the staff is very friendly. They kept our suitcases for us on the day of checkout until the evening. The hotel has a terrace with a 270° view of downtown San Diego, you can see the sunset and the planes landing at the airport. There is a coffee maker so you can have the coffee you want. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Moxy San Diego Downtown/Gaslamp Quarter! This hotel is a breath of fresh air with its fun, quirky vibe and unbeatable location in the heart of the Gaslamp and lots of fun games in the lobby lounge. From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff made me feel right at home. The lobby bar check-in is a unique touch that perfectly captures the hotel's playful spirit. Plus, getting drink tokens for being a guest was a nice bonus! The room was small but incredibly well-designed, making the most of the space. It had everything I needed and was spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and stylish. The hotel's location is simply unbeatable. It's within walking distance of tons of amazing bars, restaurants, and shops. Plus, it's a short walk to Petco Park, making it the perfect choice for baseball fans. I was really impressed with the level of service and attention to detail throughout my stay from everyone at the hotel. Special thanks to Madison - we definitely spent more time at the hotel bar because of her! If you're looking for a fun, affordable, and centrally located hotel in San Diego, the Moxy is definitely the place to be!

AAnonymous UserThis is an old hotel with rich cultural background, all the staff are very friendly, the room service is timely and in place, the bedding and mattress are very comfortable, the breakfast is not to mention, the weekend menu will be replaced with the brunch menu. All the above advantages allow me to tolerate the only disadvantage of zero view from the window. Parking is valet, there is a cvs at the door, and there is a taco that ranks first in the United States within five minutes' walk, which is pretty good, but there is homeless on the roadside
GGuest UserGreat location next to Little Italy and nice staff. Spent 3 nights here and would have preferred a room on the opposite of side of the Construction Zone which was running 24 hours as it was noisy. Close to waterfront certainly an easy walk. No Restaurant which we were not made aware of prior to booking and we were also not made aware of the huge Construction project going right next door to the Hotel. Limited supplies in the room also if they were not going to make up the room daily, we were expected to ask for what we needed replaced. Also I specifically phoned the Hotel prior to booking to see if there was an Airport Shuttle prior to booking and was told yes there is by their Head Office, only to find that there was not one once we arrived at the airport which was very frustrating. All in all the location and the friendly staff were great but the Hotel is not worth the money they are charging, not sure we would stay ehrea gain.
GGuest UserIt used to be a Comfort Inn that we have always stayed at for over 10 years but now a Best Western. Very nice upgrades, great and friendly staff, love the location, A good place to stay. Close to downtown, Old Town, Zoo, and 5 minutes to the beach and shopping and golf just 5 minutes away also.
LLINI stayed for two nights and I was out every day. I did n’t enjoy the resort service, but I still paid the resort fee. When I drove by car, I parked in a few free parking spaces at the door. A lot. The outdoor pool is beautiful, but closed early
SStephanieWas very pleased with my stay here. Only complaint is the people above me stomping around and the people next to me slamming their door late at night and early in the morning. I would definitely stay at this place again. It was clean and very roomy. Walking distance from some good restaurants. Good sized tv with fast internet.
EEnglishTeacher朱丽叶Location was excellent for concert at Petco Park, took Uber and obviously was longer due to concert influx realized take a lime lite would have been faster. Walking expect 25-30 min and going up hill.
Service was good at check -in , first night found roaches 🪳 under and around fridge area! Went to lobby for possible accommodations , encountered male fair skin and colored eyes, said they were from the weather (🙄) didn’t seem surprised to hear there were roaches in our room, asked if we can switch rooms- he said they were fully booked and didn’t have anything available which I didn’t even see him check. At this point couldn’t find room to check out for the weekend and left as is. Told cleaning lady that evening and she shared a roach spray to spray in infected area. We didn’t not feel comfortable in this environment and left our snacks and food in bags and placed luggage on our beds and desk to avoid roaches from getting in. Additionally had requested towels and when asked for 4 same lobbyist said 4 was pushing it and only handing two towels even though I had booked two double Queen rooms for 8 people!!
Second room has stains on bed sheets and pillows, unsure what exactly it was but looked like blood. Friend got rash on arm and suspected bed bugs, checked sheets and luckily didn’t find any.
Bathroom sink had broken handle that came off when lifted.
Breakfast was good- early hours 7:30-8:30 , doors closed by 8:25 and you cannot take food out. But decent has French toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal and juices.
Parking was small but have additional parking below , just have to walk around the corner.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the road, very noisy, the rooms are small, and the bathroom is smaller. The advantage is that the hotel has breakfast. When booking one day in advance on Ctrip, it is indicated that the two rooms next to the first floor are required. It was given to the second floor of the two, and that ’s it. It was also given to the second floor of the two that were not connected. This was a toss.
I have stayed at the hotel many times they totally redid the hotel probably 5 years ago the rooms were absolutely quiet and for some reason in the meantime they redid the rooms to make them appear smaller and the quality of the guests has lowered dramatically from a family-oriented environment into one that has become a party oriented environment in the past they had security guard the last two visits there has been no security guard that I have seen the rooms we stay in have decent beds air conditioning works I believe with no knowledge that the hotel was sold and the new management does not really care what happens that is my personal opinion just based on the environment we encountered
