Great beachfront hotel! We love staying here when visiting Cebu. Recommend

The restaurant...the view...was great and the room was okay... Does the bathroom keep smelling bad? Still, if I go again, it’s Mangodlong Paradise~!!

I came to Camotes for two consecutive weekends and stayed in the same hotel. Everyone in the hotel knew me and said welcome back when I came. The service was very good, friendly and enthusiastic! The sunset at the hotel was beautiful, lightning struck for two hours at night, and there were occasional power outages for a few minutes.

If possible, this was a place I would want to stay longer. Everything I could see was beautiful. It felt like the facilities, including the swimming pool and lawn, were well maintained. I think it would have been much better if there had been a pool bar.

The weather was bad for a few days, so I stayed for a few more days, but it was so nice that the staff treated me kindly! I want to come again to see the beautiful beach next time!

The location is good, especially the pool and cafeteria atmosphere. You can go directly from the room facing the courtyard, and you can fully enjoy the beautiful scenery leisurely. The staff are polite and friendly, and I am a little confused by the small front desk, but they are kind. However, it's a pity that the shower output is quite poor and the toilet is a water-filling type, and there are no amenities, there is a small water bottle, body soap and shampoo are provided, there is no toothbrush, and there is no bath towel. no other towels The cost performance is good and the location is good, but I'm worried about the disappointing part

If you want to feel truly relaxed in Camotes, we recommend this place without hesitation. A paradise full of taste, fashion and leisure, this is probably Mango Delong Paradise. Very friendly staff and service is unparalleled

Customer service and food were excellent. Staff were very accommodating from booking up until drop off at Concsuelo port. They were very receptive to our queries via chat for pick up, drop off, Camotes tours and boat booking. Staff and waiters were also accommodating while we were there. Special shout out to Shy of Bamboo restaurant who went out of her way to serve us food that was not on the menu. :)

Our recent stay at Mangodlong Paradise Resort left us feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, prompting me to write this this review to share our experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt the warmth and hospitality. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and impeccable service. The manager Al is a great guy! He gave us a lot of good advice and recommendations of things to do on the island. I highly recommend this resort to families who want to enjoy a relaxing time at the beach or pool. We will be back for sure!

The place needs a makeover regarding all the areas, pool, restaurant, rooms. This was the place to go to years ago, but times change and yhe hotel is lackning maintenance. Cons: no changing of towles and beddings, no refill of drinking water. We stayed for 3 nights. No phone line to reception. Pool id dirty and missing tiles. AC in the room only has one mode to blow air and it is very loud, we complained but nothing happened. Pros: the location and thus gets 1 star.

Nice location, pool was cloudy and had lots of flies in it. The room was nice and bed comfortable too. Room not cleaned for 6 days, no towels renewed, had to ask for toilet paper and the water was only replenish on two occasions after asking for it. I gave up on day 2 and bought my own from the shop. The price of this hotel in the Philippines is no small change and the service was poor. Great staff in the restaurant and the food good too. Pool and some areas are in need of a refurb.

Pros: The environment was very peaceful especially during the night. The ambience was calming & relaxing and the rooms are spacious. Their restaurant had a sufficient amount of choices except they only have halo2x for dessert good thing the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Cons: I have not been informed that our room is on the 2nd floor and isolated when there were available rooms facing the pool in a cheaper price. The shower was not working well and rusty, I had to go down all the way to the reception to complain as there was no telephone at all in the room. Our room was not well-prepared, there were no towels and toiletries as well as rugs to dry our feet from the shower room. The TV was outdated, it seemed like we were watching from a pirated dvd with the picture quality. The staff needs more training especially with serving food in the restaurant considering that their food is quite pricey. They won’t serve or offer you water and table napkin unless you ask them. In general, camotes is a very nice place but travelling there is time consuming. There’s only one time a slot per day in travelling to the island and going back to Ormco City. The boat from ormoc leaves at 1PM and arrives in Bokok later than 4PM, your day has been wasted. Also, when going back to Ormoc the trip is ridiculously early around 6AM.

Review Mangodlong Paradise on Camotes Island/Philippines Camotes Island was counted wihtin Top Ten of Philippines best beaches. Booked 2 nights superior room beachfront in Mangolong Paradise. This trip did not turn out as planned Already a hassel to arrive to Camotes Island – only ferry going there leaving Ormoc finally left at 1 p.m. to arrive there nearly 5 p.m. transfer to Hotel by trike taking another 90min so practically first day alsready gone. Check-in Hotel Mangodlong Paradise uncomplicated – room very spacious with fantastic view on white sand beach. Warm water in shower and aircon working well – no Wi-Fi in room, just in restaurant area. Time for beach already over so best to have som drinks at happy hour and dinner (last kitchen orders accepted by 8.30 p.m. latest) Quality seafood was ok. 2nd day started with nice breakfast and after sunbathing and swimming in the sea. 2nd evening dinner in restaurant was a complete desaster. Place was quite crowded to staff struggled a bit. This time we chose to order some meat and we were heavily disappointed. Licheon came in small stripes 70 percent pure fatty belly and the skin and the real meat hard. The plein rice was oily Beefsteak Tagalog thin slices of beef which could have had a first life as a shoe sole but this did not complain as already heard that beef is usually overdone here. We claimed to waiter that licheon is uneatable and we were very much surprised by his reaction. Instead of a customer orientated sorry Maam, can be serve you a different meal to your likings of sorry, we won´t charge for this, he just replied that meals coming already in these portions from Cebu so they don´t have any influence and he will tell to management that he has some complaint about the quality. After this statement it seemed to us that actually they dont cook at all but just warming up portions already delivered. Mangodlong Paradise: Reception – check-in and staff: thumbs up Restaurant/Bar: breakfast good, Menue for lunch/dinner definitely thumbs down - recommend restaurant of the nabour resort where we had lunch. There kitchen was good and meals freshly served.
