The reservations or for three days and I didn’t come the second night. After a bit of juggling, they were able to get me a room with a bottom they relocate me so that I was able to be in a safe and restful place. The staff is very helpful and it’s just a generally great place with a good vibe aNCCA everybody is friendly. Guest, host, and everyone like an old-time hostel.

Very clean, good location near BART Powell St. Be prepared to pull luggage across hills and stairs. It’s a nice stay to catch early flight in the morning.

The luggage space is very very unclean, the hallways in the dorm are noisy as you can hear other people, the female dorm has no beds for cheap privacy and is a bit of a walk from the lively area. Next time I will choose another place.

Vintage Hotel/Hostel in a typical Victorian house in San Francisco. It doesn't have an elevator, but you already know that when you book. They are located on a steep street but very close to Union Square, right on the edge where the Union Square neighborhood ends and the tenderloin begins. You can spontaneously find homeless people on the street, but the area is safe during daylight hours. Better to go down to market st through union sq if you go down taylor st you end up in an unsafe area. I stayed in a single room with all the comforts. Highlight the bathroom that was new and the good quality of the wifi. The only drawback I would say is that the walls are very thin and you can hear what is coming from the adjoining rooms (I heard every time the phone of the person in the next room vibrated). I can't comment on the common areas because I didn't use them. I would recommend it without a doubt. P.S. You must leave a deposit of $20 in cash upon arrival, which will be returned to you at checkout.

We stayed in a mixed room on the first day, and on the second day we paid an extra $20 (for two days) to move to a female room, which felt pretty good. There was a bathroom for four people in a room. The hostel is not far from Union Square, about 25-30 minutes' walk. I repeat, girls must book a female room, otherwise there might be all boys in the room except you, which would be very embarrassing to take a shower and change clothes.

First of all... since most of San Fran is on a hill, it's okay that the hostel is on a hill. There are 3 of us, so we booked a 2-night stay with a double bed. But our schedule was messed up, so we only stayed for 1 night out of 2 nights... I think it was a good idea to only stay for 1 night. 1. It's the last day of the trip. I asked for a deposit of $200 in cash. I didn't have any cash and said it was the last day, so I coaxed them to give me a Korean ID card. 2. Each person's suitcase weighs more than 30 kg, but there is no elevator, so they carry the luggage down the stairs, but they look blank and remain still. I will at least pretend to help. 3. The kitchen is really dirty. The utensils were dirty and the dishes were dirty, so I had to wash the dishes before using them. It was even late, so I couldn't even use a fork, so I just brought a knife and ate the pasta. 4. Well, the rule is very strict: don’t wander around the hallways after 10 o’clock; 5. The host couldn't speak English and was slow to do his work, so I stopped him for 10 minutes to see why it was so difficult to check in. 6. I thought I was freezing because there was no hot water. The location is very good. It's not far from anywhere. You can't ask for too much from a youth hostel at this price. It's very safe. You can't ask for the service of a Samsung hotel because you didn't pay Samsung prices
