Hyatt Place San Francisco/Downtown

Close to Oracle park No valet parking available Room not ready due to sofa bed Came back when told it should be ready - was not Went to roof bar had to buy a $15 beer I couldn’t drink Was not texted room was ready Even though they asked 3x’s if we needed sofa bed it was not made up since we didn’t ask for it to be made Over $300 for a room and we had to make up our own bed with only 1 sheet that was available in room Shower was ice cold in the morning

We had a great stay We Went to a Giants game while we were there. Love the location for that!

The room was spacious with secure elevator. Great location, across the street from Oracle Park. Parking is across the street. Great breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.

Overall the hotel was great. Staff were very helpful and friendly advising on baseball tickets, laundry, food, transportation etc. . Breakfast daily was great, with wide assortment. The parking costs were expensive, but I realized that it’s comparable to the parking in the area. The giants stadium is 1 block from hotel and this causes the parking garages to raise prices significantly on game days. I regret renting a car due to the hassle and costs of parking (almost as high as the rental itself) so do some research before doing this. But I did enjoy my stay here. It’s next to the bay with grocery stores and food close by. It’s about 10 mins walk from the Moscone Centre in the financial district. If I visit again; would definitely stay here!

The front desk check in was quick and efficient, really welcoming. The room was nice, the beds could be more comfortable, especially the main bed. The breakfast was good, easy in and out. Overall, great experience.

The parking situation was poorly communicated which was a bummer, ESPECIALLY on a game day. I ended up having to park many blocks away and pay $100. It does not seem as though privacy is a big priority at the Hyatt place as twice while the do not disturb sign was on the door did we had maids trying to enter our room. One disturbance was before 9am on checkout day, nothing says hospitality like an early wake up call to clean the room you are still sleeping in 3 hours before checkout. Breakfast spread looked good but was dirty. I will not be return.

Nice hotel but no parking available. Had to pay $100 for overnight parking across the street.
