It is an extremely safe property with scenic views less than a half mile walk. The bed was very comfortable.
What we didn’t like this stay was Room 102 smelled a bit musty, the tv was a mystery to figure out and the hot water in the sink took over 15 minutes to get warm!

Hotel Del Sol is in a convenient area of San Francisco. Restaurants are within walkable distance. The rooms were quiet, although small. We liked that the bathroom light was on a motion detector so if we had to get up during the night the bathroom light came on automatically. Nice touch. Our room did not have a mini-fridge. Would have liked that. Breakfast was basic. The advertised pool was empty and looks like it has not been filled for quite some time based on older hotel reviews. Parking in the hotel lot was convenient.

My husband I enjoyed our two nights here. The front desk staff for both check- in and out were friendly and quick. The room itself was clean and comfortable and decorated nicely. It is a gated hotel so we felt quite safe though it does say something about crime in general in San Francisco as the last time we stayed in a hotel where this was needed was in Guatemala City. Breakfast is pretty basic so not so much a standard hotel breakfast but just rolls and coffee. Cookies, coffee, and juice are avilable in the lobby in the afternoon and the cookies were surprisingly good. If we get a chance to visit San Francisco again we would stay here again.

I'm so glad I chose this property for our trip to San Francisco! The hotel is clean and so cute. The beds are very comfortable. Loads of wonderful restaurants in easy walking distance and the neighborhood felt very safe. The entire staff was amazing! Friendly, engaging, knowledgeable about the area. I can't say enough about how wonderfully we were treated!

The staff was really great at getting us checked in and the room was clean and comfortable. We were able to grab a tasty snack for breakfast from the lobby and we’re within inconvenient walking distance of our appointment the next morning. The Wi-Fi was fast and our room was very quiet.
