Hotel Nikko San Francisco Reviews

It is a clear and tidy hotel with no doubt. However, some of its staff were extremely rude. I went down to ask them if the hotel offered turndown services. The man starred at me then asked, in a highly disrespectful tone, “what do you mean by a turndown service?” Completely shocked that I would encounter such a question at a Nikko hotel, I could not say a word for like ten seconds while that man continued starring at me. How can I reason his behavior if not an intentional embarrassment?

The hotel is located on the street behind Union Square, which is very convenient to reach in 5 minutes. The starting point of the tram is also there. The room is not big but very clean. If you need anything, just tell the front desk and they will basically solve it. I would like to remind you that there will be many homeless people on the street next to the hotel in the evening. Walk around it, and don't look at them even if you see them. It's still safe. Overall it's OK.

The location of the hotel is actually right next to the notorious tenderlion. On the first day I drove by, I witnessed the horrific scene on Sixth Street. A group of drug ******* lay next to the tent... I asked to cancel one night on the first day, but after a long negotiation, the hotel still remained. I was rejected by the hotel, and the breakfast was very scary. There were only three or four people eating breakfast in the hotel. I write this in the hope that people like me who are here for the first time can avoid unsafe areas as much as possible.

The hotel is in a good location, close to the city hall, with Japanese style separation of dry and wet areas. The staff at the front desk are enthusiastic. The decoration is a bit old but acceptable. The price/performance ratio is high. I will stay here again next time.

The location was good, clean, and the swimming pool and gym were all good. However, the only thing that is disappointing is whether the bed is too soft or not. The downside is that my back hurts a bit.

I arrived at the hotel early and asked for an early check-in, and they listened. Perhaps because it is a Japanese hotel, hospitality is apparent right from the hotel entrance. The room was clean and good for a family of four. The location is right across from the start of the Tenderloin, so I was scared the first day I arrived, but it was okay during the day. I stayed on the club floor and used it in the morning and evening. Children (11 to 7 years old) can use it for free.

The hotel service is very good. I will stay there again next time I come to San Francisco.

There is almost no change in the breakfast and evening snacks for three days.

Convenient, near the city center, shopping and eating are convenient and fast, but the environment is good!
