Hotel Staff very welcoming, helpful, friendly. Very kind. Very accommodating. This hotel is in a nice neighborhood & its location is conveniently located for excursions on all directions. The hotel’s “Laureate” Lounge/Bar is great, fun atmosphere, good drinks, delicious food. Also check out the nearby “Barista Cafe” for breakfast, and the “Presidio Kabob” restaurant for dinner. Many other dining spots in the surrounding few blocks are all delicious—- each one unique, small, charming, and serves the best food. Too many to list. All are top notch. You cannot go wrong. The Laurel Inn is fantastic. I highly recommend.

I would not stay here again. I thought that because it's a Hyatt property, there would be great ambiance and charm, a little boutique hotel. The lobby is small and shabby, the people working are nice enough but not very professional, and the rooms are a little sad. My daughter was in a different room and said that the bathroom was not clean; she found hairs that were not hers. Additionally, the smell of my room was a bit musty, the sheets were scratchy, and I didn't like the smell of the soap and shampoo products. Overall, we were let down by the experience, and would have changed hotels but stuck it out for two nights. I should have researched this better, but assumed a certain base level of quality that we did not find.

Bed was very comfortable, the view from the room was awesome at sunrise and sunset over the city. The staff was very friendly. They had a good selection of teas, and the coffee was good. No free breakfast though! Cookies in the afternoon were a nice touch.

Went for my daughter’s wedding, we had a block of rooms, approximately 42 people. Jill the manager & the entire staff could not have been more helpful. Great location, everything we needed was in walking distance! I highly recommend this boutique hotel!!

This hotel really wowed us! We loved its vibe - they have managed to keep a little of that quaint 60-70s feel but it’s modern, clean and very comfortable at the same time. The rooms are spacious and we loved having the kitchenette where you can request dishes and they have dish soap, a microwave, refrigerator and lots of coffee and tea! We also loved the neighborhood - it is very clean and safe and close to everything, including great restaurants and cafes! The staff is super helpful and accessible, much more so than in most hotels! We highly recommend this hotel! We will definitely be back!

My daughter and I stayed at the Laurel Inn for 5 days while my husband was having surgery at UCSF. The staff was very accommodating. The immediate neighborhood has many diverse places to eat and the hotel is only about 10-15minutes away from the hospital. The is a cozy neighborhood-type bar on the hotel property. Our room was bright and spacious with a small kitchenette. Public transportation is right at the door, though we Ubered to the hospital. There is a parking garage at the hotel, a huge plus for us. The neighborhood is close to the Presidio and Golden Gate Park. SF has a fairly small footprint and I would highly recommend The Laurel Inn for any type visit to San Francisco.

We visited family in San Francisco and needed a place to stay. We landed at the Laurel Inn and the room was pleasant, clean and nicely furnished. The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. Great parking in the underground garage. We felt safe at this hotel. The bed was super comfy.

I have stayed here several times over the years. The newest renovation is lovely and modernized. The location is perfect being in the middle of the city. Safe Parking available for a price. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
