The room is large, there is kitchen and bathroom, wet and dry separation, very good; not far from Apple and Google, breakfast is an ordinary American breakfast, more common, parking free

Call front desk via phone to arrange a housecleaning service since I forget to remove the “do not clean” sign from my door knob. But no showed. Next day I pretty sure I remove the sign but the housecleaning still no showed. Finally I got the housecleaning service but they even don’t willing to put 2 more water bottles in the room and refill the napkins, so I have to get the bottles of water from front desk by myself. I’m not sure if this is normal, but I really believe I can for sure getting better service if I stayed in a shorten period, for example 2-3 days. Good parts for the hotel. There provided good breakfast which I don’t have any complaints about that. The service in front desk also great to help me with good and positive responses. I will consider to stay next time, only because of the breakfast. I hope they can take seriously on the issues I mentioned. I did complain to the front fest and hope they will improve. Not yet receive the email or contact for the follow up as well. Overall, good hotel with great breakfast.
Holiday Inn San Jose - Silicon Valley

While we had a confirmed reservation for a room at the Hampton, they were booked up, however, helped us move across the street to the Holiday Inn. It was midnight, with three young kids, and the front desk man for the Holiday Inn was proceeding to tell us there were no rooms and no options. After the front desk man from the Hampton pushed, Holiday Inn agreed to ”clean a room” so we could stay the night. They proceeded to clean a room with 1 King bed, when there were four of us and we asked for a room with two queens. An hour later, we were let in a room. The tile floor was sticky and there were only 3 shower towels (even though they all knew there were four people). Beds seemed clean and were comfortable. Airport shuttle driver was then about 12 min behind schedule but was very nice gentleman. I wouldn't care about the late shuttle (we planned extra time), except when you don't get into a room until 1am and you have to catch a 6:15am shuttle, it's annoying.

The AC is not cooling well. It doesn’t feel like the temperature we set it to. Not bad for one night stay though.

I came up for a high school reunion and since I stayed here before, I wanted to stay here again. The woman at the front desk was friendly and inviting, and since I'm a Marriott member, per my request, I was given a great room on a high floor, and away from the elevator. Spacious room, great AC/heater unit, and the kitchen was helpful since I was there for four days. The breakfast buffet was great! Something different each day. Didn't care much for the pastry selection, but it worked. Really good coffee!!! Every staff worker I encountered was friendly and a couple asked if I had everything I needed. I really like staying here when I'm up in San Jose. It is so close to the airport, yet you can't hear the planes! I took two early morning walks along the river trail, and there you could hear the planes! Definitely worth staying at!
