Very nice place, great decor, murals and statues and such, staff are lovely, large room, comfy beds, really good bar/ restaurant within the premise, short taxi to the city centre.

We stayed at Adventure Inn our first and last night in Costa Rica. What a great little hotel! It is quirky and comfortable and decorated in a very cool way. Check in and out was extremely easy and I appreciated receiving a discount by paying cash. Every little bit helps. We had everything we needed for a comfortable couple of nights. The restaurant (Moon Glow) was awesome! The food was delicious, and we really enjoyed all of the exotic fruits at breakfast. Some we had never had before and will really miss back at home. We did not get the chef's name but were able to tell him how much we enjoyed the meals he prepared. We will greatly miss Costa Rican food. Viviana was warm, wonderful and friendly. She remembered us from our first stay 2 weeks prior. She welcomed us back like family and gave us all a warm Tico hug the morning we departed for home. She was delightful! Feliz Cumpleanos Viviana!!

Our family of 5 stayed 1 night on arrival in CR (family room with 3 queens) and 1 night prior to our departure (2 rooms, each with 2 queens). The owner, Eric Robinson, was a delight to correspond with prior to each stay. We were met at the airport and the shuttle to the hotel was a quick ride. Our shuttle back to SJO was on time. The staff at Adventure Inn are so friendly and accommodating, you can really tell everyone cares that you have a great experience. The rooms are surprisingly spacious. Everything felt clean. The pool in the evening was such a treat for the kids - color changing lights plus a jacuzzi that made it feel like a glow party. Very fun! The breakfast was great, service was fast and friendly. We also had dinner our second stay and the vegetarian antipasto and grilled chicken were excellent. In case it matters to you (we were pleased with all of our rooms), ask for an exterior facing room with an updated A/C unit. A few of the rooms have a view into the inner courtyard area. I would stay here again.

Really charming and picturesque Inn/Hotel located conveniently near the airport in San José, Costa Rica…extremely helpful and friendly staff. My family enjoyed the in-house restaurant and the pool and jacuzzi as well. Also the painted walls in the rainforest theme are a nice touch that feels like it’s saying “welcome to Costa Rica”. The fish pond in the front area is pretty, too. Amenities such as shampoo and body wash, hair dryer, mini fridge, luggage rack, phone/device charging stations and the rest of creature comforts you’d expect are all present.

I would reccomend this hotel to anyone !!! The hotel has a bit of an eclectic vibe with the wall painted with wonderful, colorful murals. The rooms are clean, totally comfortable and great !! The staff...well they are the kindest, patient, supportive staff ever! We had some glitches with luggage arriving on the plane. They helped guide us and made a difficult situation a good one !!! The restaurant is great !! I would stay there again for sure !!!

I spent a night here at the end of my Costa Rica trip before heading back to California. The place is clean and well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. But the facilities are a bit dated, particularly, the AC units are very noisy at the night.

We stayed for 1 night at the Adventure Inn with our twin toddlers. We chose it because it looked like a fun hotel for kids to explore and it's locally owned. It was a great experience for us. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, from the security guard to the front desk clerk to the very tolerant ladies in the restaurant. The room was clean. The restaurant food was very good. The pool is small but looked really fun; we didn't have a chance to enjoy it. The front desk person suggested a short morning walk that we could take with our kids. It was a really lovely experience.

We stayed one night before our morning flight home. The hotel is perfectly located close to the airport but without the noise of aircraft flying over. The rooms as small but comfotable (except for the pillows which were horrid). The food was ok, not great but reasonable. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. We speak no Spanish but everyone spoke great English and were so welcoming. We did not use the pool but it looked lovely and clean. I would definitely recommend this place as a transit stop.
