Urban Green Hotel & Suites Reviews

If you're looking to explore San Jose, or have a basecamp for exploring the rest of Costa Rica, this hotel offers a great central location, situated right in the middle of San José. Good for walking to restaurants or shops in the city, or joining one of the several sight-seeing excursions which can be easily arranged by the hotel. The rooms are nice, though the decor is a bit dated. The common areas are also well designed for lounging while reading a book or getting to know your fellow travelers staying on the same floor. The breakfast buffet was fairly common for a hotel offering breakfast in Costa Rica, but good, and the area also doubles as a bar at night. Other amenities include a gym with free weights and a couple machines, along with two saunas, one dry and one steam.

The hotel is decent and has many tour options.

The room is clean and tidy, the environment is quiet, the bedside lamp is useful, and there is breakfast. The room price should be worth it. The downside is that there is no chair or stool, and the bed is high, which is very inconvenient to sit. The girl at the front desk is very enthusiastic and patient. She helped me contact a day trip and wife. She was patient and took the trouble to give me a thumbs up!
