Hotel Refugio

El hotel en general es bueno para hospedarse, de lo mejor de la región, buena ubicación, limpio, buen estacionamiento, tiene poca ventilación, lo que no me gustó es que te cobran más si lo quieres con aire acondicionado. Todo lo demás muy bien.

Excelente opcion

It is an excellent option to stay near the cathedral, you can walk perfectly along one of the 2 streets that are parallel, and which have stores selling what is typically known in the place. The hotel has on one side one of the best-known places in the area; a church and the second “well” of the virgin. And as far as construction is concerned, it is one (if the only one) newest, modern, clean and comfortable, and the service at reception is very friendly. Perhaps the only thing to mention, like many of the comments from other guests, is that there is no telephone in the room due to some need for communication and/or emergency, that the screen is very small, that there is no security personnel ( although there are surveillance cameras), and that the food option is limited to breakfast hours, there are no lunches or dinners. Although, I suppose this is because the hotel is new and they are in the process of improving. The truth is, I loved the hotel, and obviously I would stay there again and recommend it.

Terrible service from the staff, they charge you extra charges of more than 400 pesos if they arrive an hour early to be able to enter your room, if not they have already sold it and you open the door and see another family in the room.

Everything was very good, my only comment I would have is that they have better communication between collaborators since I arrived very early and paid for my reservation and they told me that my rooms were not ready yet. We went to turn around and at approximately 1 they called me to see if I was going to pay since my reservations had been for ******* and there was no advance payment. It is worrying and somewhat annoying that they have these types of actions on my first visit. I hope you can also consider making it part of your regulations that out of respect for the rest of the guests, after a certain time you cannot shout, run or have loud music until late. Unfortunately, a lot of noise transfers between rooms and in our hallway we were greeted by some ladies who were a bit drunk and rowdy until very early in the morning.

The hotel looks in very good condition, I read that it has only been open for a short time, the beds and pillows are soft for those who enjoy that type of mattress, they look and smell clean, it has an elevator, rooms with air conditioning if necessary. What are you looking for, the only "bad" thing for me is that the walls seem to be too thin and you can hear the noise from the next room....for those of us who have trouble falling asleep it is terrible since any noise is enough to disturb sleep, but my family had no problem enjoying their rest and stay....😊 apart from that inconvenience it is a good hotel. Small suggestion... they could add rooms that have a minibar and microwave oven... since if you want to have a hot or cold drink there is no way other than leaving the hotel.
