I decided to book this hotel when I saw that it was beach front. The ocean view room looked amazing and I wanted to stay here. I was aware of the hotel being between two nightclubs when I booked and I was prepared for it. Communication before I checked in was excellent. Instead of trying to deal with a shared shuttle, I booked the hotel's private transportation service. When I left customs at the chaotic airport, I was relieved to see my name on a sign. The trip was bumpy but the driver was excellent, and got me there safely and I managed to deal with the language barrier as a solo female traveler. As soon as I arrived to the hotel, I was well taken care of. The front desk staff was outstanding and friendly. All of the staff I encountered was very nice, of course there was a language barrier sometimes but we made it work. I am in another country with a different language, I cannot fault a place for this. It's extremely tacky to do so. I loved the aesthetic of the hotel. It's the eco luxury vibe with lots of wood and bambo. Room 4 I had room 4, a deluxe room with a balcony looking over the beach. WOW. I almost broke down in tears when I saw the view. I checked in as soon as the sun was setting and it was surreal to see. The Nicaragua sunset is one of the most stunning I've seen. People have to sit on the steps of the beach to see the sunset, but you can sit on your baloney with a glass of champagne if you choose. There were lots of convenience stores with alcohol for purchase nearby. My room was comfortable. I enjoyed the waterfall shower but note that they use a water pump so don't expect a lot of pressure, but this is the normal in the rest of Nicaragua. MUSIC I could hear one nightclub in the bathroom (makes for a great shower) and one by the balcony. Over the music, you can hear the ocean. The music was not too bad, with the AC and the TV, it drowns out the noise. I'm a city person though and I'm used to a lot of noise. I am a light sleeper so I ended up using the ear plugs and I also bought an eye mask. I slept fine, and in the early morning the music stops and it's very peaceful. The music also drowns out your hotel neighbors which is an added bonus. BREAKFAST I went downstairs just after 7. I didn't see a breakfast set up so I just went to the pool area to read. Someone came up to me and asked if I wanted breakfast. They offered a full Nicaraguan breakfast with coffee and juice. Breakfast was a delight and I enjoyed the coffee. After checkout, I was able to leave my luggage and wait for my shuttle. I felt very safe at the hotel and the surrounding areas as a solo female traveler (although it's a bit of a challenge to walk around at night due to all the uneven sidewalks). The only downsides I experienced was that I was not given a wifi password and it was a bit of a struggle to get it. They need to post the passwords in the room especially since each floor has a different wifi password. The safe was also locked when I arrived but
