Its a very clean hotel with many places to eat within walking distance as well as a movie theater, grocery store, and pharmacy down the street. It has a nice restaurant and rooftop pool that is very relaxing. The room was clean and had an ice maker, large sink and refrigerator. The only things I would improve are the lighting in the rooms - its somewhat dim if you need to do some work - they only have lamps and one small accent light in the ceiling - at least in the room I was in. The bathroom sink in my room was very small- couldn't hold toothbrush, razor, etc on it like most sinks. Those are small inconveniences - overall it's a very nice place to stay, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the location was great.

After our AirBnB canceled on us the day before, I booked a corner suite at the Don Rafa Boutique Hotel & Residences in San Juan (Miramar). It had good reviews, and I loved the "Great Gatsby" vibes, but with Boricua flavor all the way! From check-in, we were welcomed, and they even helped put my friend up in the middle of the night, due to our other cancellation. The staff here are extremely professional, they dress and look amazing at all times, and provide the level of service/hospitality you'd expect from a luxury boutique hotel. The roof deck shower/pool was just enough with amazing views, and the location cannot be beaten. They also have a backup generator for any storms/power issues. The rooms had an adequete amount of power outlets, and I was able to conduct a few virtual meetings from work, as the wifi was terrific. The hotel also offers valet parking at $25 a day (this is not a bad rate coming from DC). You will not be dissapointed with Don Rafa, and I cannot wait to go back!

The hotel scent was amazing. I was told by the hotel staff the scent was inspired by the owner’s favorite things and created specifically for the hotel. The scent was on the vents so you smelled it even before you step into the hotel. We wish the scent was available for purchase.
This is an exceptional property. It is meticulously clean and kept up. The staff is 10/10. The roof top soaking pool has a fabulous view of the ocean.
Grocery store and pharmacy just around the corner! Super convenient.
The Hotel is just like the pictures on the website but better in person.
I would recommend the hotel and would book here again.

I’ll recommend this place to anyone. The ambience of the place was special, tentative staff, great rooms. I didn’t get to try out all of their extra stuff cause I had other plans but they have it all. A pool, a bar, a gym. Felt like a resort almost. And the best part is they are worth the price. I hope I made some one make an easy decision on their stay.

The staff was so attentive and welcoming upon arrival. We were only there for one night but location was central and convenient for walking around. Would stay again to fully utilize the property amenities.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Friendly staff, they kept the rooms nice and clean. They have a fragrance smell thought out the building. It took me some time to get use to. I would definitely stay there me & my family
