Great stay at a motel I used to use 25 years ago. Now under newer ownership, mostly upgraded, well-maintained. Its swim pool is the cleanest and clearest I've found. The room plumbing is dated and the heater is located under the bathroom counter! The wifi is slooooow. But in general, a great property just a mile walk into downtown SLO.

The man on night shift made my girlfriend uncomfortable, he also looked inside our windows when we left them open, we had to make sure they were closed at all times.

This is a decent 2-star with limited amenities. The heater was not really functional and tucked underneath the bathroom sink area. Location is good - a longish but nice walk to downtown.

Great stay, good property, reconditioned structure tastefully done. Upgraded and well maintained. The property can be noisy, lots of other motels adjacent and sound insulation is mediocre. Plumbing old. My desk chair was broken. Heating unit was under bathroom counter! Exceptionally clean and maintained swimming pool, best water I've been in for decades.
