It has been a few days since I left this hotel, and I have been hesitating how to evaluate this hotel. Attached picture 1 is my order, ”74 square meters” ”double room with swimming pool”, the price is 126 US dollars per night. . Figure 2 is a screenshot of a random search on the Ctrip website. It still shows the room area of this hotel. The double bed room is 74 square meters with swimming pool and the super king bed room is 93 square meters with balcony. With the picture, the name of the store is ”Mountain View”. The basic judgment is that this is a good hotel, right? Just for 74 square meters with a swimming pool, the price is about the same, I left another B&B near the lake. However, the actual situation is that the room of the double bed is not big and the lighting is not good. It is a townhouse (about five or six rooms). Let's join together), the window is on the corridor, there is no privacy. The swimming pool is a public swimming pool (the only swimming pool in the hotel, shared by all) outside the corridor of the townhouse, separated by some green plants. ‘74-square-meter double room with swimming pool’ has become ‘18-square-meter pool view’! How big the gap is, I guess you understand it 😓 Where is the problem, Ctrip? Intermediary agent? Hotel? The hotel does not know. The reception area is very small, it is estimated to be 3-4 square meters, there is not even a chair (and can not be placed). . Seeing me surprised, the hotel explained that their positioning is a motel, not a B&B, nor a hotel. Later, I adjusted a room with a balcony (the privacy and lighting are better), which is estimated to be up to 23 square meters (how can it be 93 square meters). . The information on this website is too outrageous and too misleading! Bad review!

I am Marriott Titanium Lifetime. I have traveled around the world and stay loyal to Marriott as much as possible when I travel. I stayed here for a last minute and urgent business meeting this August. I was traveling with my wife who requires a service dog. Our service dog is elderly and we are training his replacement. While I did mention the service dog before booking the room, I was charged a $250 cleaning fee without any advanced notice and only saw the charge after the fact on a receipt that goes to my corporate expense account. I tried 4 times to contact the manager through Marriott Customer Service and did not receive a return call or email as promised. Finally, someone at Marriott was able to get an explanation to my dispute of the charge. They agreed I was allowed the service dog but charged me because I had 2. The room was spotless when I left and there was no reason for the excessive charge. I pleaded with the manager to consider a one time waiver of the charge as I did not know they had an issue with 2 service dogs (I am sure I could pursue this legally but not worth my time). The manager refused. It is hard enough to travel needing a service animal but for this hotel to make it that much harder is an insult. Don't stay here if you have any disabilities. They don't care and only look to profit from your needs. This experience has me questioning my loyalty to Marriott. I have the freedom to choose any brand when I travel and I will be exploring options.

I had an initial bad experience with the front desk clerk. I originally gave this hotel a bad review. However, after finally getting in touch with the manager I saw this hotel in a different light. The manger was genuinely embarrassed and sorry. She went above and beyond to make things right and it was not fake. I could tell she was genuinely disappointed in the way the staff treated me and ruined my stay. One person having a bad day shouldn’t define the whole charter of this business. I am so happy that my issue was taken seriously and addressed. I will stay here again to see their improvements.
