Très bel hôtel. mais très déçu du bracelet coupé à midi le jour du départ, quand on a un départ l après-midi ou le soir, on ne peut plus profiter du all inclusive, pas très pratique quand on se retrouve sans repas notamment quand on a des enfants!

Hôtel situé à 8mn de l’aéroport sud tenerife en voiture. On peut entendre les avions qui passent régulièrement mais à la fin on n’y prête plus attention. Le service du personnel est d’excellent. On y mange bien, la literie est bonne, il y des installations de qualité. Parking sous l’hôtel au top pour laisser la voiture de location à l’abris. Si nous avons l’occasions de revenir à Tenerife, nous retournerons avec plaisir au Barcelo Hôtel Tenerife

My second time at this hotel, no complaints about my stay. Staff, food & accommodation was spot on. Spoilt for choice for the number of pools.

We enjoyed this hotel overall. Proximity to the airport makes it easy for a short break, overall it is clean and on the whole we enjoyed the food. Staff were also friendly. There were a number of point though that we thought could be improved: 1. Staff. There seemed to be a lack of staff throughout. Long waits at reception and pool bar especially to get served. 2. Pools. Loungers are often being reserved well before opening time. If you have signs saying this is not allowed then you have to enforce this otherwise you lose credibility for not taking action. We also did not see one lifeguard at the main kids pool the whole time we were there. 3. Food. We enjoyed the food overall but the theming wasn’t really what was advertised on some nights. One chicken curry and some bhajis on the ‘Indian’ night and the rest of the food was the usual stuff. Again, no problem with this but don’t advertise if you aren’t going to deliver. 4. Location. The paths out of the hotel lead to some areas to explore including a fishing village. We spotted so much litter off the main paths. I know not something the hotel can directly control but the surrounding area itself did not seem that great. 5. Activities. Climbing wall not in use (had heard it was closed for 3 years?!), both pool tables not in use and the promised ‘tunnel experience’ and museum could only be booked at specific times and certain days and you had to pay extra. All these activities are well advertised on your website so this perhaps needs looking at. 6. Rooms. Very spacious and perfect for our needs however they are a little dated and need modernising. Also housekeeping did not attend our room at all on one day.

The hotel is acceptable but it’s just missing something. We had the so called “royal level”. Keep in mind that the “royal level” doesn’t provide its guests with new shower heads or new toilets. The rest is clean but just not quite there yet! The rest is “cute”

Friendly, professional staff and good facilities. The food is a massive let down, nowhere near the 5 stars the hotel claims. If you're considering the Barcelo I would not recommend going all inclusive, there is a nice town only a few minutes walk away with much better dinning options. Additionally the hotel lays on the approach path to the local airport, ideal or aviation enthusiasts as you can expect low flying jets screeching overhead every few minutes day and night. I'm not sure if it's the hotel is at fault, but when I purchased the room it was advertised as adult only, which is not the case, there is a single adult only pool.

A lovely stay at a great hotel. The food was delicious, the pool areas lovely with lots of sun loungers and the bars were great (though very busy at times meaning queues to get drinks). The evening entertainment was good too and all of the staff were lovely - efficient, friendly and polite. The room was good though a little tired in places (cracks in bathroom tiles and some fittings a little old), but nothing too bad. Would recommend and would probably return.

Very good Royal Level experience, worth the extra pay. Friendly staff, very good food in Royal Level restaurant, good buffets. Whole ambiance is relaxed, not the average resort with screaming children and loud music. Good place to relax and enjoy the good food and ocean view.
