Casa 1810 Hotel Boutique

We booked in late May, arrived on June 30, and departed on July 7th. The front desk team was attentive and responsive from the moment we booked until we departed. I made a special request for flowers for my girlfriend's birthday and the team delivered. I asked for directions to secure distilled water for my CPAP, and the team had bottles ready for me upon arrival. They helped us secure an excursion that ended up being cancelled due to weather, then easily helped us secure new plans on very short notice. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were always friendly. The room was always cleaned promptly. The vibe was just right. And the hotel is absolutely beautiful! We couldn't recommend this place more!

Not only was it a beautiful hotel. It was located an ideal spot but the very best thing about the hotel was the amazing staff. We had several unique situations that we had to work out and Christopher at the front desk that then over backwards to make sure everything was handled perfectly. The rooms were very clean. Each room is very different and unique. I would definitely return here on my next trip to San Miguel de Allenende

San Miguel de Allende Casa 1810 boutique hotel was an exceptional experience starting with the location centrally located in the heart of town—-1 minute walk to the jardin (main square) and the Parroquia and many restaurants surrounding blocks. Our room was beautifully decorated and spacious. We had fresh towels twice a day with turn down service. The ambience was elegant and quiet—-no outside noise was ever experienced during our five day stay. The staff always attentive and friendly. The front desk arranged our airport transportation with ease and had recommendations for meals and excursions and never gave us a bad steer. The restaurant at the hotel, Trazo, was our favorite of all the dining outings in town (a one-star Michelin and top chef award on the Travel & Leisure 2026). Every dish was a treat whether breakfast or dinner; simply exceptional! Quick note: breakfast is included with our room (coffee, a starter plate, and main breakfast dish) and the hotel’s welcome mezcal cocktail left us wanting more! My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay and rest assured, we will recommend Casa 1810 to our friends and family back home. Five stars well deserved indeed!

Everything was good except for the shower they need to update their bathroom floor it was very slippery and had very deep floor , breakfast delicious good service nice room temperature also comfortable not air conditioned but they have a fan feels fresh.

I can honestly say this was one of the better hotel experiences we've had anywhere. From the moment we arrived until the day we departed; every detail exceeded our expectations. Our room was a suite on the 3rd floor, it was spotless, and comfortable. The evening turndown service was a nice touch, and every request we made was handled immediately with genuine warmth and professionalism. The dining experience was great. The food, atmosphere, and views were simply spectacular at this hotel. We also enjoyed breakfast at the hotel every morning, and every meal was outstanding. Diana made each morning special with her attentive, friendly service, and the team consistently delivered some of the best breakfasts we've enjoyed while traveling. The concierge and hotel staff were equally impressive, especially Christopher at the front desk. They arranged our airport transportation, made outstanding restaurant reservations, and helped coordinate anything we needed throughout our stay. One of the absolute highlights of our visit was the 1810 Tequila Tasting. Roberto was a wonderful host whose passion and knowledge transformed the experience into something far beyond a typical tasting. Each tequila was paired with food that elevated every sip, creating one of the most memorable experiences we've ever had at a tasting. For us, Casa 1810 isn't just a beautiful boutique hotel; it's a place where every member of the team genuinely cares about creating comfort for their guests. Combined with the beauty, history, and charm of San Miguel de Allende, it made for one of the more memorable vacations we've taken.

If you are visiting and spending time in San Miguel Allende, you should definitely consider Casa 1810 Centro as your hotel. Last Friday we booked 3 rooms at the last-minute for one night, and everyone raved about both their room and the service. Casa 1810 Centro is a beautiful building with less than 20 rooms, so the service is very personalized. The architecture of the building is beautiful, and you can tell that it is well-kept and maintained. Even though the hotel and rooms have all the necessary modern amenities, it still maintains its colonial charm. The hotel itself is located a few steps from the town square and on Friday evening we were able to take a leisurely stroll to the plaza, listen to the mariachis and see the beautiful sights. There are many restaurants, shops and bars around this hotel and they are all within walking distance. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant with beautiful views, but we didn't eat dinner there. Our room did include breakfast, and it was delicious! It includes a starter and main selection, which you select from their menu, along with coffee or tea. Back at the hotel, every single person that we encountered (front desk, bell hop, housekeeping, restaurant staff, etc) provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Casa 1810 Centro is on a pedestrian street, and they request that you contact them 15 minutes prior to your arrival so that they can meet you down the street, park your car and help you carry your bags to the hotel, which is exactly what they did. When a member of our party needed assistance to exchange dollars to peso, the front staff helped us locate a place that was nearby and open on a Saturday morning. Although we were only there for one night, it was a great and memorable stay. Next time we visit SMA, we will definitely return to Casa 1810 Centro and will recommend it to family/friends as well. Food tip: Instead of overpaying for food at touristy restaurants, I HIGHLY recommend that you visit Mercado Ignacio Ramirez for authentic Mexican food at very reasonable prices. I had a delicious milanese torta from Tortas Beltran for about 55 pesos, and my mom had chicken soup with rice (very similar to the one my Mexican mom makes at home) at Los Farolitos. I think the market closes at 5 pm, though, so it's not really an option for a late dinner. The food was so good we went on both days and took some back home.
