What a stay - what a hotel!! We have just returned from an excellent road trip along the coast of France and Italy and The Royal Hotel Sanremo was the highlight of our accommodation. A true 5 star hotel by any standards. Safe and secure parking for our cars, excellent service, fresh and cold beer and snacks, a perfect dinner recommendation, a 5 star spa, a first rate breakfast and all combined with a luxury room and sea view. Special thanks to Adrian on reception who booked us dinner at Flipper seafood restaurant in town and took care of our needs during the stay. Worthy of a mention of its own is the Spa facilities which felt brand new and incredibly clean. Highly recommend this hotel!!

I just want to thank everyone at miramare for the most incredible trip. As soon as we reached San remo from nice we were treated with the best service the whole stay. Although the rooms were small and there was no restaurants in the hotel, the staff made it up by being incredibly kind and wonderful to be around. They helped plan every minute of our trip; where to visit what to eat there and everything we could do. Our trip wouldn’t have been the same without them. Elizabeth ,who still checks on us weeks after we left the hotel, always planned with us in the morning and even helped us book our next hotel. She was the sweetest and made sure our stay was perfect. We couldn’t thank her enough. Venessa the manager, assisted in us in every way we needed and was also helped us so much. The breakfast staff were also incredibly kind and made the food perfect. Nice hotel, and very good breakfast, but very disappointed because the room's climate was off at 36° outside, we have informed the reception from our arrival at 16:00 and 4 times, who told us to communicate the pb to the director but nothing was done, it is unacceptable for a 4 stars!!! The hotel is a very nice hotel and is a very nice hotel.

We kind of got a bad feeling from arrival at the Hotel when we were told they don’t provide assistance with luggage, 16 stairs to climb with luggage was not a good start while the two front office staff sat behind the counter offering no assistance or help. This was followed by a issue in regards to beach access, the hotel web site states beach access courtesy of Hotel, be but we were informed they charge 45 EUR a day, the young girl girl working at the reception told us this is alway a problem with guests and the hotel should update its website. In the end we walked across the road to the club to find they only charge 22 EUR a day for two sun beds and an umbrella, it seems the hotel puts a 100% mark up on the price they charge. In the end we walked 300 meters along the beach and found a great beach club charging 14 EUR for two guests and spent our week there with a better beach and great restaurant and bar for lunch. Rooms are good size and bright but the hotel is poorly managed with staff not providing any levels of service. Breakfast is poor and impossible to get coffee. HK vacuuming corridors outside guest rooms late at night, all showing little management of the hotel. There are better options including Hotels with pools that we will book for our next visit to beautiful Sanremo.

I booked this hotel via *********** for a family stay of 3 nights at the end of October. I made this booking many months in advance. 2 months before the scheduled stay, the hotel asked me via the *********** app to book a different period, several weeks prior to the scheduled period. An absurd request, as if people simply could re-schedule a planned stay by a couple of weeks, just like this. I declined, and my reservation was confirmed. 2 weeks before the scheduled stay, the hotel told me via the *********** app to cancel my reservation. THEY didn’t cancel my reservation, but asked ME instead to cancel it. Reason: The hotel alleged to close the establishment for refurbishment works. Which is most likely a lie, given the fact that they tried to get rid of me weeks before already. They simply needed the room for someone else, maybe someone famous, or someone paying more. It doesn’t matter anyway. Even if it would be true, it would be a joke to cancel on hotel guests who did a valid booking. I was tempted not to accept, but at the end I cancelled, as I didn’t want to stay at a place who treats its customers this way. I had to find a different hotel for me and my family, and at this stage (shortly before the stay) I had to pay double the price I would have paid at Hotel Paradiso. I cannot recommend to book a room at this place. Too risky they won’t hold up the reservation.

The hotel is very good, far from the chaos of the sea and the locals. The car is within a few minutes from the highway or the center of Sanremo. Spacious and clean room. It is to note the very friendly staff and available for any request. The only neo is the temperature of the shower water, not warm enough.
