Booked a junior garden suite online and whilst booking were asked to chose the actual room we wanted. So we selected one near to the pool and paid an extra €42 for this selection. However when we checked in we were given a different room. The room couldn’t have been further away from the pool and the garden view was a plot of soil and a road. When I returned to reception to ask to change rooms I was told they were full and nothing else was available but to come back the next day. The next day the electricity was out in our room for around an hour. I went to reception to ask about changing rooms but was told they didn’t know what was available as the electricity was out and they would be in contact when the electricity came back. No one contacted me when the electricity was working. So I went to reception again. I was offered a different room but a downgrade in size and it was in the same row with the same view. The room we were in, whilst not dirty felt as though it hadn’t been used for awhile and it was dusty. The room also just felt very uncared for. Lots of marks on the walls including squashed mosquitos and dried blood from the mosquitos not washed off the walls. The room smelled musty/sewage. I told reception, she placated me with saying they would let house keeping know but no one seemed to do anything about it. The patio was untidy. I asked for a broom to sweep it myself. Reception said they would get house cleaning to do it. No one did. The entrance/porch to the 3 rooms in our block was covered in bird poo. It is so lovely there are so many sparrows and swifts on site. I am a bird lover and enjoyed watching them. But the hotel needs to maintain keeping the communal areas clean and not covered in bird poo. On day 2 of our holiday palm tree work took place. This meant the pool was out of action all day. Only a note the night before to warn us of this. My husband was playing golf and the whole point of booking this particular hotel was that it was opposite the club and I could spend the time sitting at the pool whilst he played. It wasn’t even like I had a nice patio I could sit on instead. Why the hotel is doing this kind of maintenance work during the height of summer when the hotel is full? Finally the daily maid service was not good. We left the top off the shower gel container to indicate there was none left - the cleaners just put it back without filling it. Towels I had left on the floor that were obviously dirty and for changing, were just hung back up. Coffee was not replenished. This has the potential to be such a lovely hotel but no one seems to be caring for it. The swimming pool area is lovely. And I did enjoy using the outdoor gym box (but don’t be under any illusions that it is a proper gym). It is just some free weights and Astro turf. But it just seems neglected particularly the garden areas

Absolutely poor service from start to finish with this hotel. Room hasn't been cleaned in over 2 days since we arrived and we have asked over 7 times. The staff have been standing around like the photo I have shown and are doing nothing. We are still waiting at reception for them to clean the room. Also no vegetarian options available at the lunch buffet. Have raised this concern with the staff and hotel manager but nothing was done. We have paid for half board and a member of our team has now gone hungry since breakfast where again the only thing edible was the fruit. We are djs and are here for a wedding. This review will be posted on all social media platforms.

Lovely relaxed hotel with lovely staff, especially Abda in the bar and restaurant who was always super helpful. Golf course looks great, should have brought my clubs!

As I’ve mentioned before, this end of the Costa del Sol has surprisingly few truly good hotel options, so it’s great to see another property open in the region. Although construction isn’t yet fully complete, most of the complex is now operational. I may be mistaken, but it felt as though we were experiencing something of a soft opening. The owners have done an excellent job transforming a 1970s golf resort into a stylish, contemporary hotel, centred around a large and inviting pool. The rooms are beautifully renovated—spacious, bright, and thoughtfully designed. That said, a few small details still need attention, likely due to the ongoing works. The bathrooms, for instance, lack hooks or racks for towels. The terrace outside our room was in need of repainting or a good pressure wash. Around the pool, the redecorated lounging area is very attractive, but the pool itself still bears its dated 1970s mosaic tiling, which could benefit from refurbishment. For the most part, the staff were warm and friendly. However, the breakfast team seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests, and their brusque manner didn’t quite match the otherwise beautiful surroundings. Perhaps this was the first weekend the hotel had been at full capacity? Just as the physical space still requires finishing touches, it seems the service would benefit from additional training to match the high standard the hotel is aiming for. Regardless, these are minor wrinkles that will no doubt be ironed out in the weeks and months ahead. In short, this is a welcome and much-needed addition to this stretch of coast, and we look forward to returning.

This property has great facilities and so much potential. The pool area is lovely and the villas are cute. However, what let us down consistently were the staff. Not rude, but uninterested, slow and also prioritised some media team. At times there was no one at reception- we waited for ages and no one came. Drinks orders came wrong after LONG waits, we ordered a club sandwich which was not a club sandwich, and the chicken came raw. No apology, just another long wait. We even tipped the waitress and she didnt say thank you. We were shoved in a bad room overlooking some bins/ electrical boxes. On check out day, I later found an email asking me to do online check in and choose my room- but obviously it was too late. The air con was bad, the fridge didnt work and the charging port next to the bed didnt work. There were very loud children running around the pool area and cycling throughout the sunloungers. On the first day it was impossible to find a sun lounger, it was possible on the Sunday. The food was expensive and the cocktails were bad. We had to pay €150 deposit on check in. €20 deposit per pool towel. I just felt very let down at every turn, which is a shame because it could be so nice.

I have not stayed at the hotel but go there most days for breakfast. For 15€ a sumptuous choice of cooked "full English" , healthy avocado, salmon, chicken, fresh salad items, cheeses, hams, tea, coffee, pastries and toast. The staff are very friendly and efficient making each visit a pleasure.

Great hotel. Convenient for glof course wedding. Friendly and supportive staff.
