Different rooms seem to be a little different, some are relatively good and some are average. There are almost no Asian tourists. It is still worth recommending to stay in Port Barton. Breakfast is a bit simple, but you get used to it.

Port Barton is an amazing place to go, highly recommend! Our room was right in front of the beach. Hotel restaurant is very good, it's cheap and delicious. Breakfast you can choose from the menu, their banana pancakes are great! I would love to come back.

If you want simple but great place to stay, this is the place for you. The rooms are clean and the staff are accomodating. Their restaurant have a variety of food to choose from.

It’s disappointing to read previous negative reviews. Let’s put things into perspective. Port Barton is a beautiful little town that thankfully (for now at least), isn’t very built up and doesn’t have luxury and pretentious resorts. Ausan is a perfect place to stay and provides everything you need for a few days. Staff are lovely and helpful. Our room was basic, but all essentials and good shower. The whole place is very clean. Breakfast was very good, a few choices, all served with some fruit. Lovely to have it on the beach too. The location could not be better, directly on the centre of the beach. Yes, there are dogs (all friendly and harmless), but this is the case on the whole island. If you are not happy in this lovely and charming home, don’t bother coming to Port Barton at all. Stick to the tourist traps and overcrowded resorts. Overall a great stay and exceptional value for money. Thank you to all at Ausan cottages!

This hotel is beachfront in a very convenient place and the staff were lovely. The food was also good, unfortunately I didn’t realise breakfast was included because we ate there at a later stage and it was good. The rooms are old and therefore not the best value.

Pros:
Right on the beach! Great staff, will always help with requests. Restaurant is inexpensive.
Cons: no wi-fi in rooms, only in restaurant. Signal not always strong. This may be true everywhere in Port Barton. Also, restaurant has extensive menu but is always out of many choices. No brewed coffee, only instant.

Behageligt ophold i lille hyggelig strandby
Ausan ligger perfekt ud til stranden, hvor man kan sidde og nyde solnedgangen. Deres medarbejder, Youris, hjalp og vejledte os omkring alt hvad vi havde af ønsker og behov. En virkelig god og behagelig person, som yder sit bedste.
Maden på stedet var ok, særligt de filippinske retter.
