The hotel was incredible welcoming and the receptionist was lovely.
The room was consistent with other hotels in this price range. It's a local area with many small restaurants located nearby.
The room was clean and spacious and the water was hot. Shower was nice. They left us 2 bottles of water as well.
Overall very nice.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Grand Hotel 2 in Sandakan, and I must say, it was a wonderfully comfortable experience.
It was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, with a modern design that added to the overall comfort. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing a great night’s sleep after a day of exploring the city.

Located in the new town of Sandakan, it is far from the tourist spots and gives the impression of being suitable for business trips and other business use. There are many restaurants in the area, and convenience stores and supermarkets are within walking distance.
