Flott hotell.
Dette er et usedvanlig flott hotell, gammelt og ærverdig, og nydelig pusset opp med rom i både historisk og moderne stil. Rommene har god størrelse og fine møbler, men mangler kjøleskap. Det er vannkoker og te/kaffe. Fint bad med varmekabler. Stor, deilig hage og parkeringsplass, også el-billadere. Vi spiste middag på hotellet, og den var veldig god! Frokosten var også god og variert, men litt dårlig utvalg i allergimat. På forespørsel fikk vi brød og smør.

Fantastisk hotell som trekkes ned av lokale rånere
Dette var et utrolig flott hotell med fantastisk service og frokost! Vi følte oss veldig godt ivaretatt av de ansatte, hadde et koselig rom. De gav det lille ekstra, med velkomst drikke og gave til barna. Så det var fryktelig synd at de lokale rånerne skulle ødelegge for noe som kunne vært et fantastisk opphold på hotellet. De var spesielt to biler som kjørte gjentatte ganger forbi hotellet med plagsom høy musikk, dette drev de på med store deler av dagen og sent på kvelden. Noe som ødelagte det koselige oppholdet i hagen til hotellet i løpet av dagen, og fratok oss nattesøvn på kvelden. Vi ble også holdt våken til kl.4 på natten av høy musikk og fulle høylytte personer som oppholdt seg utenfor hotellet.

Albergo d’epoca ristrutturato, molto bello
L’albergo é molto bello, la colazione era in delle salette molto accoglienti, con un ottimo Buffett.
La nostra stanza era confortevole, letto molto comodo, spaziosa.
Vicinissimo alla riva, supermercati e ricarica per le macchine elettriche.
Una bella passeggiata in riva a poca distanza. Noi siamo stati solo di passaggio, ma é una zona che meriterebbe qualche giorno di escursioni. Strategica per raggiungere Loen e il parco nazionale Jostedalsbreen e la visita al
ghiacciaio. Tutto dista circa un oretta di auto. Super consigliato!

Søvnløs natt pga uanonsert konsert på hotellet
Hadde jeg på forhånd visst at det skulle være utekonsert på hotellets område, så hadde jeg aldri valgt dette overnattingsstedet denne gangen. Etter lange møtedager og flere i helgen , var det umulig å slappe av på rommet og i natt pga all støyen fra bandet som spilte. Dette burde vært annonsert på forhånd! Jeg reiser herfra nesten søvnløs i dag, jeg føler eg har betalt dyrt for ei søvnløs natt. Velger nok ein annen overnattingsplass neste gang eg er på Sandane. Skuffet , da jeg har vert rimelig fornøyd her tidligere .

Gloppen hotel har en unik atmosfære med sans for detaljer, alt fra interiøret til friske blomster på rommet og levende lys og hvite duker på bordene i frokostsalen.
Frokosten var en sanselig opplevelse med diskret pianomusikk i bakgrunnen og fantastisk hjemmelaget mat. Gode gluten- og melkefri alternativer.
