The hotel has no staff most of the time. When you arrive, you need to call them and wait for them to open at the door. Convenient location next to the beach The room does not have any hand sanitizer, the facilities are relatively old only Benefit sea view room, you can look at the beach and sleep

STAY AWAY Where can I start lol. Well when we got there the smell of pot hit us. Then we got sent the key code for the room and walked in feeling very upset as the pictures on line are nothing like true life it's run down smells and looks bad. Tried up on the way to room as flooring up. Put pin code I door and opened only to find someone a sleep on the bed. Found a young man in bar that helped us and we then was told it was the wrong room mmm but the door code worked on it. Then was sent to the same room again. 3rd time lucky was sent to another room. On the way to that room found the plaster of the walls was coming off, floor coming up, tea and God knows what else over the wall. Walked into the room and looked around and walked back out. Bed springs coming out, carpet with stains over, bed cover for a single bed, toliet with wee stains, Detector with sock over it. Pulled back the bed sheet to find bits of food. Dust ever where. Then find out Homeless sleep there

Never have I stayed at such a dirty disgusting place EVER, 11 of us arrived on Thursday for the bank holiday weekend as attending the National Scooter Rally until Monday ,upon arrival the desk was abandoned, one of our group was tx the codes for the doors ,we all proceeded to our rooms and after dropping off our luggage met in the bar area to gasps from each other about the state of each of our rooms ,not only had they NOT BEEN CLEANED ATALL,curtains were all almost hanging by a thread ,the nets were all yellow, cut and ripped ,dirty bed bases ,filthy carpets ,I had no kettle or even a chair to sit on ,rubbish thrown on top of wardrobe, rubbish behind the bed and litter still in the bin ,everything was in disrepair, bedside lamp not working and no light fitting in the bathroom, we were all disgusted, we carried on with our evening and the next day the manager requested full payment from us for the duration of our stay ,we handed over ,over £2.000 ,and I did question why the rooms hadn't been cleaned ,he assured me they had ,to which I stated AGAIN they hadn't he said the cleaners must just be going in and not doing their job ,surely it is the job of a manager to check this ,we did have clean sheets but the duvets needed the skip and so did the mattresses ,and we only had one hanger in one of the wardrobes for 11 people for 4 nights ,the tv was also water damaged and no remote either the view from my window was like a junk yard with all the disgarded and broken items from the rooms ,absolutely disgusting, some of the group have stayed before but said it now needs condemning as apparently being let out to asylum seekers ,NEVER WILL ANY OF US EVER COME BACK AND I HOPE ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH PAYS THEM A VISIT EXTREMELY ANGRY 😠 😡 and felt not only ripped off but extremely unclean for 5 days and have not stopped scratching my arms in since I returned last Monday Afternoon

Just avoid. I’m quite tolerant of places and hotels but this shouldn’t be advertised as a hotel, it’s more of a hostel/halfway house. On arrival there was no one at reception, after asking someone that appeared who worked there how do I check in to which she responded “it’s nothing to do with me” which quickly followed up with “hang on actually” she did manage to find someone to check me in. The bloke who checked me in was nice enough but I knew as soon as I got to the room there would be trouble, he apologised about one of the guests singing who had been singing for “2 days” at the top of his lungs in the room across from me (and was still singing! - awfully might I add). When I got in the room it appeared bearable at first so I was fine with it but once I got in and settled I realised that it was actually filthy, thick dust everywhere including on ceiling fan which I almost turned on, I have allergies so they started flaring up. Again, as I said I’m normally quite tolerant and it was only for one night so I thought I’d put up with it, then I could smell ****! Someone was clearly smoking it in the building, and then the singing from the drunk guest started again and so I went downstairs to complain but there was nobody to complain to, I went outside and tried ringing the number left on reception multiple times but just got cut off every time, it didn’t even ring!. So I booked another hotel and left. It appears after talking to the taxi driver about my experience that the council has a contract with this place and is used as a halfway house. Not for tourists the only good thing about it is the location. I wouldn’t recommend to anybody!

I booked this on 01/10/23, for 23/08/24. We were staying with friends at the same hotel. I paid in full. They cancelled my booking yesterday and upon ringing they said there was a hotel problem, today they’ve said it was overbooked!!! AVOID!

Very basic hotel, dated and extremely scruffy but the important bits were fine, bedroom absolutely okay as a bare bones affair. Shower and bathroom not too amazing but overall okay. In fairness it’s advertised as a budget hotel and it is, check is a DIY affair so read the blurb. Main issue was the fact that the place appears to double as some sort of a hostel for some fairly scary looking characters who don’t appear until after dark and that’s where the fun begins. At around half midnight we were woken by someone knocking loudly on the bedroom door. At first we decided it was safest to ignore it but after a minute or so it got louder and more aggressive. In the end I opened the door (against my better judgement) to a scary looking vagrant who was insisting we were watching tv at a loud volume. After some convincing him that the tv wasn’t on he left; truly scary stuff as he could have easily been carrying a knife with a malicious intent. We were both left shaken and the rest of the night was spent listening out for other stuff and it wasn’t long before the next occurrence which sounded as though someone was attempting to climb the wall outside. Anyway, thankfully morning came and we survived but all in all a truly terrifying place. My advice to anyone thinking of staying here is please don’t but if you do make you you are suitably equipped in terms of self protection equipment!

Nice hotel however there are a few issues that does need to be picked up on by management they are as follow, making sure that there is staff on site 24/7 make sure the place don’t look abandoned like it did, the room was a nice size for two people however in the room I had found a dead insect on the wall, windows where filling up with water, the side of the window had a big big crack in, one window did not open, shower door broke, the heated fan was very unsafe, all these need to be done as a priority if you want to have better service and more customers, also need more then one cup for two people

The only positive side of my room was the bed. The rest of the room was disgusting. Dirty bathroom and shower. No wardrobe or bedside cabinets, or anywhere to put your things on ! Milk was off. Sockets for plugs were none existent, I had to prop my things on a chair and the bin to reach the sockets. As for the clientele, they mustn’t sleep……….banging on doors until 1am, not good when you’re a coach driver trying to sleep and be alert for the next day. Basically avoid this place like the plague.

Avoid, avoid, avoid - hotel cancelled my bank holiday booking 9 days before and now left with nothing as everywhere full. The only explanation given was maintenance issue, to which I responded, but it is 9 days away, surely you can fix it in time, no apparently not and when I asked who I can complain to, she said no-one. Thank you for ruining my bank holiday weekend OYO Marina, which I have been looking forward to. To to twist the knife further, I got an email the same day they cancelled saying sorry I had changed my mind and if I wanted to re-book, please click link - when I did the price had doubled - £900 for 2 nights!! Shame on you OYO Marina, you have deprived good hardworking people who bring revenue to your hotel of a well earned break on bank holiday.
