This was the best big4 in Australia in my opinion actually the best resort I’ve ever been to in 25 years. Our stay here was absolutely fantastic from the swim up pool bar to the other two pools to the cleanliness of the park. The toilets were immaculate. The free body wash in the showers was amazing the friendliness and caring nature of staff. We loved the food at the restaurant on site it was amazing, It was also really great to have it delivered to our cabana. The choice of mocktails was fantastic as I don’t drink but still enjoy a nice fruity drink this was great .The park was so clean and so spaced out you didn’t feel crowded we had a powered site. Even though the park was really big and was quite busy at the time it was never noisy after 10 pm which was fantastic considering how booked up the park was. I understand a lot of reviews say that it’s very overpriced but it is 100% worth it. My husband and I are already planning our next trip there for November 2025. The only issue we had is that the kids bike track needs to be completely secured off outside of riding hours . There were kids who were on the track at 5am even though there was signs . This is ohOther than that a fantastic stay

Holidaying as a family with our two sons, their wives and our 3 grandies, Sandstone Point Holiday Resort was everything we could ask for. We stayed in 3 Villas for 5 nights, and only left for a few hours one morning to go to Sea Life. The rest of the entertainment was supplied at the resort, along with bars, takeaways, bbq facilities, and great coffee and pastries. The communication beforehand, and during our stay was excellent, along with the check-in and check-out process. Villas were very spacious, and lovely and cool, as it was quite hot and muggy while we were staying. I would definitely recommend this resort, but if you’re thinking about going you will need to book well in advance.

We were on a powered site and each day we had lovely guys asking if we'd like leaves etc blown off our site, they were so friendly. Amenities always nice and clean. We spent 90% of our time around the pools, honestly just fantastic, best park we have stay at. You never have to leave the park as there's a never ending list of things to do. Yeah it's not 'cheap' but it's worth it in my opinion. Already planning our next trip back !

We were at Sandstone Point earlier this week on our second visit. When we came here three years ago we were very impressed with the standard and layout of the property in general. We were specifically interested in the layout and variety of the garden plantings and feature plants. We were keen to see how the gardens looked three years on. We were absolutely amazed at how the property had been developed and the gardens, three years on, were an absolute delight. We were very fortunate to meet and chat with Tach, the head gardener. What an artist she is! And what a warm and generous person too, willing to impart some of her “secrets” and more than happy to chat to us about the various plants that we loved and admired. We travel in a motor home, so we can’t comment about the accomodation options, although they all looked to us to be too class. But the camping facilities, the property in general and the many dining options were first class. The managers of this property have thought of everything. What a terrific place to bring a young family for the ultimate holiday. We look forward to coming back in 2026 to see what Tach has done with the gardens in this gem of a place which remains a highlight of our visits to QLD.

Amazing facility. Modern, comfortable and such variety for kids/adults. Beautiful setting that enabled us to access local community and beaches. Didn’t feel crowded or hectic. Loved that we could be as self contained as we wanted, but still able to access cafe/restaurant anywhere onsite. Villas were beautiful and so tranquil. Never stayed in a place like it, very special. Hours of opening convenient. Staff were welcoming, kind and so helpful, answering questions and working toward making our stay fun.

We had a blast. Felt very welcomed and looked after. The kids loved every square inch of the impressive pool complex. There was a great chilled out atmosphere. Everything is well maintained. Would definitely visit again. Lots of memories.

Fantastic resort with so much to offer. Lots of activities for the kids . The pool area amazing and the pool bar a real bonus. Staff excellent and welcoming. Lots of restaurants and places to eat nearby. The oyster shack was so good Very relaxing time . We will be back .
