Loved the City Lodge Hotel. Location was great and the staff was courteous and friendly. The room was clean, neat and tidy. Housekeeping did an amazing job; the room felt spotless every day. Stayed here for 7 nights and our stay was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet had fresh fruits, juices, yogurt, and an omelet made per order. Considering the affordable price, this hotel delivered excellent value. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch, and access to the gym and swimming pool. Worth every penny. Special thanks to reception staff Rhoda Ndhlovu for her exceptional assistance in all matters.

I recently stayed at City Lodge Hotel in Johannesburg. The overall experience was average. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try the food as they didn't offer halal options for the Muslim delegates. I believe they could improve the variety of their menu to accommodate diverse dietary needs. While I didn't have any issues with my room, the gym was quite small, and I didn't have time to use it. On a positive note, the location is convenient, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
