Enjoyed this hotel, it was a nice relaxing place to enjoy before leaving South Africa, everything was good in the stay and the staff were really attentive and friendly. Recommend for a short stay

My room was a standard double with a queen bed, it had everything I needed including a desk, coffee maker, and good water pressure in the shower. The bed was fairly comfortable and the room was cleaned promptly every day. The breakfast spread in the dining area had a variety of options including cereals, toast, fruit, pastries, and eggs. The food was of average quality and freshness, nothing exceptional but sufficient to start the day. The service staff at the front desk and concierge were pleasant, helpful, and efficient whenever I had questions. They provided recommendations for restaurants and attractions in the area. The hotel has an outdoor pool and fitness centre, although I did not use the fitness centre during my stay. The hallways and public areas were well maintained and clean. Overall, the Mint Hotel 84 provides good, no-frills accommodations in a convenient location for exploring Katherine. The price point is fair for the quality you get, making it a solid choice for standard business or leisure travel.

The Mint was lovely and lively. The rooms are very clean and they hosted some fun activities through the weekend. Added amenities were a slight issue. The iron wasn't heating up, the ironing board was old and clunky so I abandoned that ironing mission. The response to messaging requests was a bit slow at times but the staff were amazing!!

I had a comforting and stress free time. I travelled with my new born and husband. We took a deluxe suite. Excellent service. Easy accessibility. During load shedding, good backup for electricity and water supply. Highly recommended. 5 Min ride to Sandton Center.

Great location first of all. Its right in the heart of Sandton,near Sandton City and the Gautrain. They could do better with the room cleanliness,it smelt like cigarette smoke.
