My family has been renting in this property for over 20 years. This year the unit we stayed in showed obvious signs of age and lack of updating and regular maintenance. Screens on the patios were ripped, letting biting bugs in. Found rust in freezer, loose wall bath fixtures, and mildewed washing machine. Generally the unit needed new carpet and furnishing and appliances. In a complex that is frequently full there should be no reason the owners do not update these units to keep up with the prices charged. The cleaning service does a mediocre job cleaning these units and apparently do not notify the office when routine items need attention.

Our condo was amazing! It was clean, comfortable, well stocked, and so cute. They had boxes full of menus from restaurants and brochures with things to do, super helpful. There were books for all ages to read and family board games as well. The owner of this unit was very helpful in giving us suggestions for what to do on the island. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

Came here with my husband and two kids, and we had a wonderful time staying in Unit D5 this June. We got to enjoy sweeping views of the ocean, rain or shine, for breakfast lunch and dinner. Community also has great amenities like a gas grill that allowed us to bbq. We were just steps from the beach and got to see both sunrise and sunset from this awesome location. The apartment was also clean, large, and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back.

We stayed at the beach with two small children. Though the condo we stayed in was dated, it was clean. We had everything we needed, and you could see a partial view of the water from our slider. The condo was quiet and peaceful. The walk to the beach was short and there are an immense amount of shells. If you stay, bring your own dish towels, sponges, etc. We would definitely consider going back!!

We came to sanibel arms for a weeklong family vacation. As soon as we got here my husband who is asthmatic and my son who is too had her asthma flare up and as I looked up on the vents there was black mold on the vents in my master bedroom my bathroom and in the shower. My husband also woke up with welts all over his upper trunk and back. I am an ER nurse and I know what bedbugs look like and those are bedbug bites. The general manager came to my room and said he did not see it so there was nothing he can do. Nothing you can do? You have ruined our whole family week and everybody is miserable and there’s nothing you can do about it? Do not come here if you were looking to be comfortable and clean rooms. To make matters even worse the gentleman who came to “fix” The mold said it was our fault for keeping the windows open and that is why mold form. I am not an ***** I am from Miami I know how mold forms. So condescending, stay away

We've probably stayed in 8 of these condos and find them lovely! Had M8 been the first, it would have been the last! Dirty carpets & it needs painted badly! Pocket door on master bath scrapes & doesn't operate correctly. Sink in other bathroom has faulty drain stopper. Toaster is probably 20 yrs old & doesn't work. Toaster! Nothing in kitchen was clean - no silverware or knives were clean. Room darkening drapes don't close completely - what's the point? This was the only condo available to fit our travel plans but would not take it again.

Floors throughout the entire unit were not cleaned when I arrived, There were muddy footprints throughout the living room and kitchen, Two of the kitchen chairs were broken and dangerous to sit on, The refrigerator door is streaked with stains that looked like wine was spilled on it. The blinds in the second bedroom were broken. Maintenance came to lower them but did not replace or repair them so I couldn't raise them and open the window the entire stay. The pillows in the primary bedroom gave off an unpleasant odor., The living room television was very small. The DVD player has a noisy buzz making it impossible to hear the movie. The primary bathroom sink and shower were very old and corroded, I have been coming to Sanibel for many years and never experienced a condo in such bad shape. I paid $5,557.00 for a 2 week stay and for that amount expected a clean and somewhat updated place to stay.
