The hotel rooms are larger, the twin rooms are larger and the beds are larger and more comfortable. Free coffee is served in the hotel lobby before 10 o'clock every morning, which is very popular.

The hotel is really beautiful and tasteful. The rooms are standard but the bathroom is quite big. The hotel is in a good location although it is not in the busiest dock area. I like it very much and will choose it next time.

Absolutely wonderful location. The bike / walking path is a minute walk from the hotel, right along the beach. There's a little grocery store about a 5 minute walk up S Milpas St, so convenient. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance (1 mile) or a short drive. I didn't eat at the hotel. The room was clean but toiletries were not replenished, and my dirty glasses were not washed or replaced. For the high price tag, I would have expected that. The air conditioning in the room was great, quiet, and easy to adjust.The front desk team was very friendly and knowledgeable. My favorite people were the Valet team. They were fun to speak with, very down to earth and did their job well. Valet parking is $26.00 / night. I didn't see that price anywhere when I booked.

One trip over one month I stayed in 10 hotels and this was absolutely the best! I got the ocean view room that came with a huge balcony and huge bathroom as well. Very luxurious hotel, great location, nice staff and very comfortable. The only thing I would ask for is having a coffee machine in each rooms, or at least in the upgraded rooms! Highly recommend!!

The best hotel in Santa Babara!! It was really delicious to stay in this hotel, the restaurant CONVIVO was spectacularly delicious! we enjoyed el Chef Peter, He is a genius.. We rested, the service to how many spectacular, the housekeeper always ready to solve any details, the front desk incredibly fast and helpful, the rooms very clean and beautiful, simply the best hotel in which one can stay, we had an incredible time!!!! Thanks to the whole team of the hotel it was worth the trip to Santa Barbara and stay with you! Thank you!

Excellent hotel, enjoyed the location, beautiful views from our balcony, very attentive staff, restaurant food was very good. Room was well appointed, large bathroom, appreciated the dual sinks. Valet staff very respectful. Would definitely stay next time in town.

I was soo excited to come to Santa Barbara and my husband and I thought it would be nice to stay here after some research… The rooms are shabby, and very outdated. No coffee maker. And if you think there is gourmet or any nice coffee in the lobby, you will be disappointed. The valets are like vultures and they definitely swarm and want tips for everything. Homeless people are right outside hotel in a park across street, AND … they tell you that it overlooks the beach? Well you have to cross a busy street and you hear BUSSES and transport all night. The only thing I saw that was kind of nice is the restaurant there. Everything else is lipstick on a pig. I love how it’s billed as “charming”. I would say it’s CRUSTY. I travel all over, and I stay in a variety of places and I must say, sadly that this is one of my worst experiences.
