Best Hotels in Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain

It was well located for the places of my visit in Tenerife, an expensive value for one night and not fair to be three stars, I did not see it enough to give it the stars Much delay than the one who attended us at the entrance yesterday and lack of bath soap, I hope the facilities improve and it does not have air conditioning

abbiamo soggiornato in questo splendido hotel una notte , per poter godere al meglio la visita con ascensione in funivia al magnifico teide, che deve essere prenotata sul sito almeno una settimana prima . cena ottima , colazione ottima , camera pulitissima e massima attenzione a tutte le norme anti covid in qualsiasi spazio. Personale molto attento preparato e gentile.

We’ve just returned from seven days of heaven, what an amazing holiday we all had. My husband and I took our adult kids with us, aged 22, 19 and 18. Each one of us said it was the nicest hotel, most accommodating staff and fantastic food that we’ve had in an all inclusive hotel. When we checked in we were given a glass of champagne to welcome us, taken to our rooms, showed how all the gadgets in the room worked and felt very welcomed! We did all three al a carte restaurants and each one was fantastic, you really did feel that you were in a proper restaurant. But the food in the Central Market was lovely too! We were in a swim up room, which is sunny all morning but then goes into the shade. But it was welcomed as the sun can be deceivingly intense. Comfiest sun beds ever! Finally thank you to all the staff. They were all so friendly, professional and as I say just smile! Best smiles and teeth ever! Best holiday I’ve had in a long time - thank you to everyone there.

Having visited Hard Rock in Ibiza, I was disappointed in this hotel as the standard did not live up to expectations. It was my sisters 30th and the hotel did not want to accommodate us as a family party of 10! The service was extremely slow and the staff were rude. The adult only pool had been closed, with no prior warning, due to maintenance and the pool bars were closed. As much as I appreciate that it isn’t fully into the season yet, it has put me of visiting again or recommending to friends!

We had high hopes for our stay at the Silken Atlantida Santa Cruz based on the reviews however we was left very disappointed. The pro’s is that the hotel is in a good location, a quick 5 minute walk from the bus station and there is good shopping around and nice eateries. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was really good with a great buffet selection. The con’s - overall this hotel is poor value for money the rooms are average size for a city centre, we paid extra for the ‘executive’ lounge. We have been lucky enough to have experienced executive lounges in many hotels around the world and this executive lounge is the worst! It’s just on tap coffee ( you have to take your own cups that are supplied in your room) with fruit ( well just apples) and ‘pastries’ (pre packaged tiny single muffins and single pre packed biscuits ) there isn’t even any fresh milk. In a usual executive lounge you are proved with unlimited snacks and soft drinks through out the day with unlimited canapés and alcoholic drinks early evening for an allotted time slot. You really need to rename what you are offering as it is definitely not an executive lounge. The air conditioning in the room was non existent, the room was uncomfortably warm despite having the air conditioner on ‘full’, the lobby areas around the hotel was colder than our room. The room really lacked any little extras, there wasn’t even any glasses in the room just paper cups never mind any complimentary water, tissues, or extra pillows again in the booking we was told we had a pillow menu?!?! In the bathroom there was no light over the shower and the wall made it difficult to get in and out of the shower. The shower gel was to the end of the bath away from the taps I assume to make it easier for house keeping to refill but there was no non slip *****s so anyone with a disability or who is unstable on their feet could be liable to slip. Seriously I’d give this hotel 3 stars at best mainly for the location but it certainly isn’t a 4 start and in my opinion it really wasn’t worth the €113 we paid.

I have just been on my first solo trip and I chose this hotel to stay at. I didn’t find the reception team overly helpful. When I checked in, I wasn’t given any information at all about the location of the restaurant for breakfast or the opening and closing times. I also wasn’t given any information on where the pool was, the operating times, towels etc. I asked if I could have a room with a sea view, but I was told I couldn’t with no reason why. I was willing to pay the additional, but it was a flat out no. On the few times I had any questions, the lady on reception didn’t stop what she was doing on her computer, she spoke to me whilst she continued working so I felt like a bit of a nuisance to her. The pool areas are spacious and have plenty of sun beds. It was quite empty when I used the pool and I can only imagine the reason for that is the sun beds are very uncomfortable. You can’t seat them up, you can only lay on them. A few times I took my pillows up so I could try and sit up and read my book. The pool by the bar is a lovely temperature, but the pool on the other side is freezing. The pool staff were very friendly and they served a good club sandwich. I paid for bed and breakfast, but only ate their breakfast once. The food way okay, but wasn’t very hot and not much variety. My room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was quite hard which I’m not used to, but I actually slept very well. My room faced the main road which was a little noisy at times, but it didn’t disturb me too much. The location was brilliant. It’s in a central location and I was able to walk everywhere. As a solo traveler, I felt safe here.

I stayed for 9 nights in this hotel in December 2023. My transfer to the resort was significantly delayed, over 4 hours, so I arrived tired & hungry. I went to Reception to check in & was told my room had been upgraded to include a balcony, I was also provided with 2 bags of food courtesy of the hotel as they were aware I was running late, sandwiches, fruit & water. I was surprised by this gesture but absolutely delighted. From that moment on I continued to be welcomed & felt the warmth of the staff, from the bar staff, kitchen staff & cleaning staff, everyone was courteous & friendly & made the hotel feel like my home for the 9 nights. The rooms are very clean, an older more authentic look to them but I fell in love with the place. The fridge worked which was good news too! The breakfast in the morning was excellent & plenty of choice. There was entertainment on at night, most of it was very good. The hotel does a deal where you can drink local alcohol & hot drinks for €14 per day (min 3 days), it was excellent value. I spent my birthday at the hotel & arrived back to my room to a card from the staff & a bottle of wine. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and was made to feel very welcome. One word of warning…the hotel is a 15-20 walk from the beach & it’s a reasonably steep descent / ascent so it is tough on the legs…I’m 44 & of a medium fitness level & I found it tiring, so be aware of that.

We arrived early evening with a quick check in with time for an evening meal. Clean, practical room with kettle, fridge and basic kitchen equipment if looking to self cater. We had a lovely room overlooking beautiful gardens with a view to Mt Teide. Shuttle bus to town centre in mornings and late afternoons.. Free WiFi and TV (no BBC). Animation programme 5 days a week offering range of activities. The evening bingo and quiz was different and amusing. The breakfast menu was varied, evening meals ok with plenty of dishes for meat/fish eaters and fewer options for vegetarians. However, restaurant team happy to accommodate vegetarian meal requests. All the staff were friendly, polite and accommodating. The decoration, fixtures and fittings, etc reflect the age of the hotel. Ongoing maintenance, re-decoration and updating is evident. If you prefer a newly built hotel with the latest features this is not for you. The gardens make this hotel; if you enjoy flora, fauna and soaking up nature then this is the place for you. We would return.

My Mum and I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for 4 nights as part of her birthday celebration and it was perfect! The rooms are so comfortable and the bedding is sublime! The team who work there are so fantastic - nothing is too much trouble and ever so helpful. There are beautiful towels by the pool which don’t slip down and you get two as standard so not everything is wet when you get out! There is even suncream at the pool so you don’t have to bring your own! Wifi is brilliant throughout the hotel. Cocktails are beautiful, about 17-18 euros each but worth every penny! Absolutely delicious. My only criticism was the lack of food choices in the hotel by the pool - not a huge amount to choose from, very fish based (I don’t eat fish) and the service was a little slow for drinks but that could be the time of year. But there was fabulous popcorn cones and fruit kebabs which were shared in the morning which was great. When planning you’re trip, just be aware that there is nothing around without a taxi from this hotel - there’s some lovely local places nearby but you will need to get in a taxi. The beach area is incredibly well set up - the little train takes you there, there’s a full bar and restaurant, toilets, suncream and sun loungers. Overall it was a brilliant stay and would recommend the hotel for sure - would be even better once the refurbishments are done and there are a few more pools and the restaurant with a view is open again! Overall we had a very good experience at this hotel. All the staff were kind, pleasant, smiley and helpful, always. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was on the seaward side with a balcony and spectacular sea view, but very noisy as the Atlantic waves crash on the rocks directly below. We didn't mind this, but if you want a quieter environment, ask for a room on the garden side. Breakfast (buffet style) offered a lot of choice, including cooked food, fruit, pastries, cold cuts/ cheeses etc. The evening meal buffet was also perfectly acceptable, although we mostly chose to eat out as there are various tapas bars and restaurants within 10-20 minutes walking distance. Loro park entrance is a 15 minute walk away, and impressive black sand beaches and associated beach bars another 5-10 minutes. What we liked the most about the hotel was the extensive and beautiful sub-tropical gardens, where you can swim in 3 pools located at different levels on the site. Because the gardens are so large, you can find a quiet spot if you need one. There's also a pool bar serving drinks and light meals. There were a few downsides, but they were minor. The decor is a little dated and our room could have done with a refresh. To go up in the lift you need to use your room key card, but the card readers are not reliable. It can be a little frustrating trying to get the thing to work so that you can access your room. But these ******* were well outweighed by the positives. We felt that the hotel offered good value and we would stay there again.
