Hotel Riomar, Ibiza, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

This is a really nice hotel. Staff are great and good location. Rooms very clean and good breakfast. One criticism is why they have to make all bedrooms pet friendly! Just have some rooms pet free so that people with allergies don’t have to worry.

Oscar and the other front desk staff are incredible. After staying in hundreds or maybe thousands of hotels around the world in my life, I might have found the best of the best. If I owned a hotel, I would hire Oscar to be the manager. He is that good. A genuinely kind human who seems to love his job and works very hard to make everyone as happy as possible, but I also saw him solve complex customer relations problems quickly. He made my special occasion vacation much more special, so I want to say MUCHAS GRACIAS to him and the other lovely people at the front desk who were always happy to help and never seemed stressed despite the hotel occupancy being very full in the high season. The hotel was the perfect location and environment. On a nice beach in a quiet town. I loved staying in this quieter town with great restaurants and driving to party spots, rather than the other way around. The hotel has a great chill vibe and never seemed crowded even in peak season. The outside dining/bar area has a wonderful view to the sea. And the drinks were fantastic. I really enjoyed the white sangria with lots of fresh fruit. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with a wide range of healthy or not options. There are beach loungers and umbrellas but not 1:1, so my only recommendation for improvement is for the hotel to get more umbrellas. That being said, the beach attendants for the loungers/umbrellas and the food/drink service was all excellent and friendly. I highly recommend a sea view room because they all provide expansive views out to the sea with a balcony big enough to sit and enjoy the view, close enough to hear the waves. There is a big difference in your enjoyment between the sea and city view rooms at this hotel. In summary, this is an extremely impressive hotel for the service and products. Good people make a difference and every department in this hotel is staffed with friendly people who are giving outstanding hospitality. I already want to return!

My wife and I booked a last minute trip to Ibiza a week ago. We usually stay at the Ibiza gran but I heard great things about the Riomar. Luckily a room became available at the last minute. As soon as we arrived it became apparent we made the right choice. The staff are incredible; attentive, friendly and come across like they really care about your stay. The setting of the hotel is perfect; at the end of a beach with few people passing but close enough to good restaurants and bars. This will now be our ‘go to’ when we visit Ibiza. The team here should feel very proud; nailed the customer experience to perfection. Just don’t change!

Lovely hotel, amazing staff, highly recommend! Paula at front desk was very supportive of our needs and made our stay amazing. Highly recommend this property over the W hotel next door. Was not a bad taxi ride to get back and forth to town but a car is helpful.
