We had the most delightful experience staying at the Inn of the Torquois Bear this past week. It was our second time staying there. It’s is a historic inn with a very rich history, beautifully appointed, fireplaces in every room, delicious gourmet breakfasts and close to the historic plaza in Santa Fe. The customer service is phenomenal further validated by our recent stay. We had asked for a late check in and had a very hard time getting into our room. We finally were able to talk to the manager as we checked out. He was wonderful. Extremely apologetic and offered to comp our first night. We enjoyed our stay but Alex’s kind response made it even more special. I would give this place five stars even without Alex’s (the manager) very classy response. I’d recommend this place without hesitation

We had an amazing stay! The Inn staff was wonderful and attentive, taking care of every need during our visit. Each day there was a new breakfast menu and meals were cooked to order and delicious. Wine socials in the evening were fun and a great way to meet other guests staying at the Inn from around the country. Cool history, neat rooms, and great location. We will be back!

My wife and I had an awesome stay at Inn of the Turquoise Bear! Our cozy O. Henry Room was perfect for the two of us….super comfortable after a day of exploring all over town. We love the wood burning fireplace. So charming! The Inn is a short walk from the heart of Santa Fe. The breakfasts were incredible both mornings, innovative, comforting, ample, and delicious! The staff couldn’t have been more friendly. We would return to the Inn of the Turquoise Bear in a heartbeat!

I always look forward to coming to the Inn of the Turquoise Bear every year!! I love that I have made it a yearly tradition and enjoy coming here at different times of the year. There is something for everyone in Santa Fe anytime during the year. The daily breakfasts and snacks made by Dan and his team are so delicious and yummy!! I always meet the most interesting people at the breakfast table or with wine in the afternoon. Dan makes sure that every little detail is perfect in the room. Anything that you may want or need is available. I also feel safe and cared for as a solo woman traveler! They have thought of everything!

We could not have been happier staying at the Inn of the Turquoise Bear. Dan and Edith along with their staff have created a peaceful haven which we were loath to leave. From the cozy living room, den filled f with books, games, and coffee, tea, and snacks available all day. The rooms are comfortable and my goodness….the bed! Such luxury! I’ve never slept so well. We purchased their sheets! They’ve thought of everything to ensure the modern traveler is comfortable. They also have such great ideas and information on how to make the most of your vacation! Experts in Santa Fe and the area. We’re so grateful we chose to stay at the Inn of the Turquoise Bear. Their passion for hospitality is present in their attention to every detail. Truly the very best inn we’ve had the opportunity to visit. We will be back!

Lovely property with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on! Our weekend in Santa Fe was sunny and beautiful, and I actually considered just hanging at the Inn because there are so many beautiful and comfortable areas to spend time away from it all! Alex and Edith are gracious and entertaining hosts and provide a high level of hospitality, along with other staff members. We loved the Inn of the Turquoise Bear! Highly recommend!

Even the locals choose this place
This is an experience! Amazing bit of Santa Fe celebrity history. A former party house that saw the likes of Ansel Adams, DH Lawrence, Willa Cather, Georgia O'Keeffe among many others. Quirky yet refined, walking distance to downtown and the Roundhouse, sociable or meditative if desired. Beds and furnishings soo comfortable. It is an adventure you'll remember.. Fantastic long weekend
My wife and I had a terrific long weekend staying at the inn. The room and the inn were charming, and was conveniently located within walking distance to many of the top sites in the city. We particularly enjoyed the terrific breakfast and the evening happy hour. There are very few hotels where you can get to know your fellow guests and we had some really fun conversations with them. We definitely come back again next time we are in Santa Fe.
