An absolutely wonderful hotel, spotlessly clean, staff are amazing and very accommodating, rooms are very stylish (minimalist and clean asthetic which I love). Definitely worth paying for a sea view balcony to avoid being placed on the ground floor. We are in our mid 20s and I would say the majority of the clientele there with us were quite a bit older, but this made for a very peaceful stay. The area itself is quite quiet and very touristy, not much we could find in the way of good quality Spanish food, I honestly think the hotel food was the best we had so would recommend paying for all inclusive. I’m pescatarian and found lots of choice at each sitting. You can easily get the train to Barcelona (1hr 20 mins journey and trains every 30 mins) and Girona (40 mins journey, trains every 2 hours).

Een heerlijk adults only hotel dat direct aan het strand ligt. Men heeft een eigen stuk strand met bedjes en parasols. Bij binnenkomst werden wij ontzettend fijn ontvangen en kregen we een glas cava. Leuke start van de vakantie. Wij hadden de bovenste kamer de suite met een balkon met een fijn zitje en gigantisch mooi uitzicht. Echt een aanrader. Bij de suite zit ook de bedjes huur voor het strand, sloffen, kamerjas , koffie en minibar werd iedere dag aangevuld met water, fris en bier. Kamer werd goed schoongemaakt. Wij hadden alleen ontbijt en was top! Men had naast de standaard koffie machines ook nog losse cup apparaten zodat je eigen sterke van koffie kon pakken. Advies zou zijn maak er een baristo corner waar iemand de koffie voor je maakt .Schenk vers geperste sinaasappelsap uit Spanje. We hadden een huurauto en konden voor het hotel parkeren. We hadden geluk. Maak er een mooie vakantie van als je er bent.

Les plus : hotel de petite taille par rapport au complexes hôteliers voisins donc plus "intime". Situation idéale face à la plage. Repas variés et bons. Belle vue depuis la terrasse surtt si vous demandez à être côté parking (pas de vis à vis) Les moins : insonorisation mauvaise nous entendons le bruit des canalisations. Odeur de moisie sur la literie. Lit d'appoint tout abîmé et taché pour un 4 etoiles, erreurs de commande au bar, pas de savon rerempli.... Bref des petits détails qui cumulés font que pour un 4 etoiles, c'est limite.

Just returned from 14 nights holiday at Alegria Mar Mediterania Hotel, absolutely fabulous, the staff are all so friendly & helpful, the hotel is spotless inside & out, the food was superb such a vast selection at every meal, you were spoilt for choice, cant wait to go back next year, definitely book all inclusive, fantastic value for money 👍👍

On arrival we were offered a glass of bubbly each which was a nice touch by the reception team. We went to our room (220) which was modern and spotlessly clean. Nice outside balcony with a table and sofa. We booked All Inclusive which is well worth it. The hotel is right on the beach, pool area is great with lots of sunbeds (even though you get the usual ****** who get up at stupid o'clock to put a towel on the sunbed they want). Food in the restaurant was great, even the fussy eaters would be hard pressed to not find something to eat. Entertainment in the evening was good, especially the duo on the Saturday evening. Could not fault anything. Big thanks to the bar staff especially Rocky (funny guy). And a big thank you to Susanna in reception who was fantastic and so helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Upon arrival at the hotel we were offered welcome champagne which was a very nice touch. Due to time of arrival we were unable to check into room but could leave our suitcases in a secure area. The pool area was lovely, sunbeds available at all times throughout our stay. Very relaxed atmosphere. The room was spotless with a huge balcony and walk in shower. Cleaned daily- perfect. Breakfast provided the best croissants/ pastries I'd ever tasted. Food provided a variety but as a vegetarian I stuck to what I know. Pizza and pasta always available and a large salad bar. Music entertainment was really good each night. Beach at doorstep. Train station is 10 minutes walk and reception were helpful which train to access. Perfect stay and would return again

1st time here for a girly holiday. First impressions were very positive. The reception staff and check in smooth and very friendly. We went all inclusive and had bands with a chip in for the room door-brilliant idea! Had a south view room 703 and it was lovely. Modern and clean with lovely bathroom and shower. The balcony was large and had the sun all afternoon. The girls who ran the bar in the daytime were amazing . So friendly and efficient, remembering our drinks . Pool area was nice overlooking the beach. Plenty of supermarkets and Tabac shops within minutes walking distance. You did have to get up around 7.30 to get beds near the pool but that was fine by us. My only gripe really is the restaurant. The staff were constantly preparing tables for the next meal. We got told off several times for sitting at tables that were not for the current meal. The restaurant staff need to pay more attention to the people in the current meal and stop getting ready for the next. And stop being so surly! We are on holiday not at school! Snacks in the afternoon could have some variation but we could always make our own toasty . Feel free to ask if you have any questions. Oh we found the beds to be very uncomfortable and the linen poor quality. The bottom sheets didn’t fit the bed properly and were polyester so just made you hot. Had a fab holiday none the less and would go back.

Absolutely lovely place, so friendly, staff always happy to help us, lovely drinks and food…always a flow of drinks!! Clean, tidy and fab room, would definitely go back! We had such a chilled and relaxing time, the sea was so close, perfect for a dip! Thank you
