We enjoyed our 2 nights stay, very nice rooms, nice facilities, great staff and service, good breakfast, highly recommended

Known as the best hotel in the San Diego CBD area, there are the following problems: 1. English rubbish for all staff. Choose carefully if you don’t speak Spanish. The reception staff in the front hall speak English roughly equivalent to the level of Chinese junior high school students, which is extremely strenuous. When ordering in the restaurant, you and the waiter think you understand the exchange, and nod your heads frequently. As a result, it depends on your luck. . . . . . 2. The facilities are extremely unfriendly: the room cannot find a piece of paper, a pen, very few sockets, and the location is extremely inconvenient. (Although it's not a business hotel, don't tourists need to write a word?) No laundry bag for 7 days in the room! 3. The types of services are few and poor: During the epidemic, as a five-star hotel, it did not provide on-site nucleic acid reservation services, and did not help you. If you do not speak Spanish and are not familiar with the local situation, you will just die! I went abroad for 2 months this time and stayed in more than a dozen five-star hotels in various countries, but the only one did not help you with nucleic acid appointments. After you made an appointment, the hotel still set up obstacles everywhere! If you don't have the local currency, the hotel will never pay for you. In short, in a super five-star hotel, the guests take care of everything by themselves! By the way, the hotel does not own a car, you can only ask the front desk to call Uber if you want transportation services. 4. The service staff is extremely irresponsible, and the sense of service is extremely poor: I have made several appointments in the hotel conference room, and every time is no exception, no one has followed up. After you have an appointment with one front desk, you don't know the situation at all if you change to another one! Room cleaners never check whether there are laundry bags in the room! I can only put dirty clothes in the plastic bags I sent back to the front desk the day before every day, and I told the front desk n times, but still no one will bring you a laundry bag in your room. Stayed for 7 days, said it 7 times, and no one was in charge! I made an appointment at the rooftop restaurant after checking out, but because I left the room without a key, I couldn't use the elevator to the rooftop! When we arrived at the restaurant, there was no one, because no waiter knew that you had made an appointment! After calling the phone for a long time, the waiter couldn't understand what you want on the phone. You can only say one word come repeatedly, I hope he can understand it! After coming, he must serve the white man first. . .

Worst service.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room however had some shortcomings - no proper reading lights by the bed, and aircon was poor and difficult to adjust, resulting in the room being a little stuffy at times. Breakfast on the Sunday morning was chaotic - we had to sit in an overflow area.

Very nice facility and amenities. Great infinity swimming pool and roof top bar.

Everything about this property and location was perfect. The restaurants, shopping was nearby. The staff, rooms and food were excellent.

This was our first visit to Santiago. The service, friendliness and willingness to be of help at the W was outstanding. Food was excellent. Our upgraded room and its views was Amazing. The property is showing its age a little and could use a makeover and new, less soft mattresses. The location to shopping and restaurants is perfect. We would definitely stay again !

The hotel it’s a little old, need to be update. Boring bar, boring ambiance. The sky bar close. Expensive medium quality

Really friendly staff from start to finish. Super comfortable room with huge shower. Top quality breakfast selection. Hotel layout is a bit annoying in that you have to take three different sets of lifts to get to different areas. Some of the decor felt a bit dated. Pool bar / food menu was poor. Hotel is in a really nice part of Santiago, close to bars and restaurants.

The decor is tired and needs a refurbishment, there was none of the 'wow' factor that W's are meant to provide. The breakfast buffet was very poor, there was a lot of food but it was poor quality and poorly presented. Staff at the rooftop bar were very good, but other staff seemed not to care about much. And in this day and age, a hotel still using toiletries in small disposable bottles is really disappointing.

Very nice hotel. Very luxurious and all amenities were top notch. Rooms were very spacious . Great selection for breakfast. Rooftop pool and deck was incredible Best location for restaurants

We stayed here for a night after a cruise. The hotel is in a modern office building in a nice residential/ business area. I felt safe walking around. The rooftop pool was a good feature - it was long enough for laps but not wide. The pool area is nice, though it got a bit crowded on Saturday afternoon. The has a “happening” type vibe. Rooms were large and convenient. The breakfast was good. It is a short distance to La Golf Metro.
