It is a nice place in a cantral part of town. The staff are very nice and help out where they can. The rooms are well equipped, not luxurious but more than adequate for the price.

Caroline was very friendly and helpful. She managed to find a good transfer for us to Farellones and made everything she could to make us have the best experience possible. The hotel has good location near Lastarria and metro station. The fresh yogurt is a must try. The facility is a historical building, don’t expect anything fancy, but it’s fair enough considering the price. Very good quality / price ratio

El mejos hostal en Santiago. Esta muy cerca de la estación Baquedano, sin duda eso es un plus enorme, la movilización por el metro se nos hizo más fácil. La habitación es amplia, tiene calefacción así que no sentimos nada de frío. El desayuno es bien contundente, te dan pan calientito, frutas y entre otras cosas. El trato de las chicas y el chico que se queda en la noches es muy bueno, son demasiado gentiles y serviciales, nos ayudaron en varias ocasiones y resolvían varias dudas que teníamos acerca de como llegar a un lugar. Sin duda volvería otra vez.

I don't have many hostal experiences but this is worth every penny. The food delicious and the staff super. The only bad thing is that the floor of the room is made of wood and you can hear your moves and other guest. Also it was uncomfortable that early in the morning or late at night you can hear loud people. But everything was amazing. I was a solo traveler and felt safe. Even doe I came in at night.

Adoramos nos hospedar no Hostal Rio Amazonas! Foram 10 dias nos sentindo em casa em Santiago. Casarão antigo muito bem cuidado e preservado, em localização excelente, perto da estação de metrô Baquedano e de bairros turísticos como Lastarria e Bella Vista. Calefação muito eficiente para os dias frios. Café da manhã muito bom e opções para almoço e janta. Todos muito atenciosos e solícitos, tornando a experiência ainda mais incrível! Agradecemos por tudo.
