Compared to oia and fira, the location of this hotel is relatively quiet, but the scenery of the cliff is still great

We are mature second marriage honeymoon guests for 9 days at Nikki Beach Hotel and Resort. We loved our time, the service was always attentive and rapid. We own a Destination Wedding Venue INOLA Blue Ridge in the U.S. and understand luxury and service. The pool design and lighting is spectacular, room views great. Word of caution, if you dont like loud party music 11:30am to 7pm. Do not book a room near the main pool. The small pools at the rooms need more plantings and decor to make them more intimate. Also for about 80% of the pool rooms, other rooms look down into your pool. Go for the view and not the small pool. Thank you so much Nikki Beach!!! R. Skelton

Our stay at Magma Resort Santorini was nothing short of spectacular, offering a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and top-notch service. For those who don't want to read a long review, here are the most important pointers: Service: 10/10, the staff is extremely helpful, and willing to solve all the problems you might have. Food: The food was good, clearly attempting to be fine dining with a lot of potential, but at this point it's too expensive. Location: Quiet location, yet secluded from the sights to see. Amenities (spa, gym, pool): Fantastic spa, fantastic sauna, and fantastic spa staff. Gym has everything an experienced gym goer would need, but ideally more variety in equipment would be nice. Pools and relaxing areas are lovely, and well designed. Room: Well designed, modern and clean. It offers everything you would need, and it is definitely worth the price point. Now, for those of you who want a more detailed breakdown of our stay at the resort, here’s a deep dive into each aspect of our experience. We'll also rate each part. Service (5/5): The service here is top-notch, showing genuine care for their guests. When we arrived, we were given a thorough tour of the entire venue, with each facility explained in detail. This warm welcome set the tone for our stay. The hotel offers a convenient affiliated taxi service to get you wherever you need to go, which saved us the trouble of figuring out transportation. Plus, there's a free shuttle to Fira, a charming town in Santorini with beautiful shops. Whenever we had an issue or request, the staff was quick to help. They are incredibly friendly, genuine, and bright – sweet, honest people you can have real conversations with. We left with nothing but positive impressions. Food (4/5): The dining experience at Magma Resort aims high, with a clear attempt at fine dining. The menu offers a variety of intriguing options, each more tempting than the last. We dined at the resort's main restaurant, which has a chic decor and stunning sea views. The food was good and showed a lot of potential, but it hasn't quite hit the level of refinement needed to justify the high prices. Some dishes, despite their beautiful presentation, lacked depth in flavor and originality. Overall, the dining experience is promising but still evolving. With a bit more consistency in the kitchen, it could become a standout feature of the resort. For now, it feels a bit overpriced, but the ambiance and service make it worth a visit, especially if you're looking to enjoy a special evening with a spectacular view. We want to give special praise to their Caesar Salad for lunch. It is the best salad we've ever had! Location (4/5): The location is perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet. It's nestled in a lovely area and is close to important sights and towns like Fira, Oia, and Yalos Beach. The only downside for us was that you can't really walk outside the hotel – the main road is very busy with cars, ma

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Exclusive Plan Suites. The staff were amazing and truly went out of their way to help us whenever we needed it, from check in, to advice on getting around, and everything in between. The caldera view from our room was breathtaking. The hot-tub was always a welcome sight after a long day of hill climbing and walking (take the hike to Oia if you get the chance!), and it was always warm. Breakfast was served every morning, and there was always more than enough to eat. Location-wise, this spot is pretty convenient. We were only about a 10-12 minute walk to the shops in Fira (with great views along the way), so we never felt like we were far from whatever we wanted to do, but Firostefani is much quieter than Fira so it was nice to get back to the room after a day out and have a relaxing evening looking out over the water and checking out the cruise ships. I'm not sure what is going on with the beds, but we woke up rested every day! Probably the best sleeps we've ever had on vacation.

We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was our 5th time to Santorini. The hotel was lovely, really clean and staff were very pleasant. We stayed in a beachfront room and the room was great, however I do think some improvements could be made. For example, theres no where to dry your swimsuits/towels - the balcony is so big that I think they could put a dryer out there. There is hardly any storage in the room and the full length mirror is on the wardrobe door next to the entrance door so we could not see ourselves properly. I also had to hang my dresses on the the curtain poles as the wardrobe was too short to put them in. Breakfast was ok, comparing it to other 5 star hotels we have stayed in it was not a 5 star breakfast - coffee whilst nice from the machine but should have been served to you. Water was always flavoured too which I did not like. However all foods we sampled at breakfast were lovely. We ate at the restaurant a few times for lunch and the food was great value and delicious. Cocktails were €15 and made very well. Coke was €4 a can. There is a QR code on the sunlounger tables showing the pool menu - personally I found this totally pointless as you still had to get up and order your drinks/food at the bar - sometimes they would bring drinks to your lounger sometimes we had to take our drinks ourselves. I think for 5 star hotel they should invest in the app/QR code and allow the guest to order from their sunlounger, as we have experienced in other resorts. The sunloungers are extremely low to the ground so if you have mobility issues then you will struggle to get up off them - the beach beds are even lower to the ground than the pool ones. The sea is unusable - it is so slippery that even with beach shoes you will struggle to get out. I think the hotel should seriously think about putting a jetty so guests can enjoy the lovely water.

We stayed at Nissos for a week as a group of 13 (+ baby) for a friends wedding and the hotel was perfect for us! The staff were all absolutely lovely, so relaxed and incredibly accommodating. The location is smack bang in the middle of Thira as well as being minutes from the bus station to explore the rest of the island. Couldn’t recommend staying here more- definitely request the room with the mega terrace overlooking the pool- iconic. Thanks again to all the staff you made our week wonderful!

We are so happy with had the opportunity to meet our Hostess Arestides he was above and beyond exceptional. He was helpful and he was able to get our transportation to the airport the correct time. Also, any restaurant reservation he was able to take care that for us and suggested great restaurant by the area by calling the restaurant I making sure we get a table with a nice view. He was very nice explaining everything to us when we arrive to the hotel and show us all the highlights of the island the best beaches and places to go. We felt safe and happy everything we will go to the front desk, and he was there to assist us. I can't thank you enough for all you time and hospitality. we are so happy we stayed there. The staff were so friendly, the rooms were immaculate. It was so peaceful and safe. I loved our pool right outside of our room 101, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is not too far from the center to Fira by walk about 7 minutes. Thank you again Arestides and the entire Staff.

I cannot emphasize enough how amazing this hotel and the owners and staff are .. I have a 12yo autistic son who has never been abroad and hates change and pretty much everything ... I had been able to speak to the owners before hand and explain and wow they went wayyyy above what you would expect to accommodate us.. the hotel is gorgeous 2 pools and areas 1 more quiet with pool shower toilets and apartments with hot tubs clean cool air con obv .. no trouble is too much .. fridge and kettle with some don't have !! The. In the main hotel there are more apartments and rooms all beautiful clean and well laid out (we had 2 Apts) the pool for that side is more social with a bar and lots of couple type sofas and beds over the pool beautiful at night all lit up .. breakfast is served here and again beautiful breakfast ..it's the staff that make it tho especially Anna Marie and her family .. not only is she beautiful on the outside she is gorgeous with her thoughts and caring ... My son would not have stayed had they not been able to do all the extra bits. (Balloons toys quiet area etc ). We will come back again when we can . And it will be to here !! I just can't recommend enough .. kamari is the beach side for want of better description.. it's a ***** of beautiful restaurants cafes on level with the beach no steap steps like the other side of the island .. so straight into hot black sand .. wear beach socks! There is no tide as such and children can Wade out a fair bit before it drops so snorkeling at the edge of the sea next to us was possible ... Plenty of choice of type of restaurants but obv fish is an excellent choice .. oh and sorbet .. there is a small steep hill to get to the hotel (obv cars drop off and collect Inc taxis if u need them we hired a car ) but got used to that after a few days and I have a very bad back and hip! But prepare for stairs as they are everywhere except the front ***** in kamari it's quite level .. anyway hope the pics do some justice ..
