My wife and I stayed for 11 night commencing in late September 2024 and we had a really positive experience. The hotel is situated in a small village and is about 4 to 5 minutes walk from the seafront, and there are also many restaurants both along the sea front anout seven minutes easy walk away . We ended up staying at the hotel via the TUI holiday company. Reception staff are most welcoming and competent, rooms are clean and fairly spacious and air-conditioned and we had a small fridge. The daily housekeeping service is of an extremely high standard. Breakfast, which is eaten in the pool area outside, has plentiful hot and cold menu options. Coffee is provided via coffee machines so you can have whatever kind of coffee you would and just help yourself to 2nd and third cups as you wish. The pool is very nice and the area is really well kept. There's a decent variety of lunch types available in the poolside restaurant: sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc. I suggest ending the day with a 5:00 beer in the poolside area, where pool and bar manager Andrej ensures that every guest is well-cared for and made to feel very much at home. In the evenings you will be going out to eat and there is a huge choice of restaurants within 7 minutes walk but if you have limited mobility, there are restaurants within the village within two to three minutes walk. Our room had a balcony; most rooms appeared to have a balcony. There is no elevator but the hotel is over two floors and it would be very easy to obtain assistance with luggage. Really nothing on the negative side whatsoever. I don't want to start doing a name check because all the staff really ought to be acknowledged and I'm afraid that writing this 10 days after my return I may forget to acknowledge and that would be a pity because everyone really is wonderful and I couldn't recommend the meltemi village hotel enough.
