The view from the balcony outside our room was very nice, watching the sunset while enjoying our meal. Luxury at its best. The breakfast the next day was also very delicious.

We were arriving very early morning to Santorini and I booked an extra night so we had a hotel room when we got there to rest and unwind after a long trip from America . We messaged the hotel in advance to be sure it would not be a problem. When I got to the hotel no one was there. We waited, and around 7.40 am hotel staff arrived, and let us know we had wait until 8 when front desk will open. We were there , they were there but still we had to wait. We booked and PAID long time ago for a “caldera view room“ and we got a bottom floor room without any balcony or no terrace, no window with view at all the the ocean, No even stepping out of the door to the comunal terrace filled with not very well treated plans. We went to front desk and the smiling, open the window and said “here is the view.” I just responded, “yes and it is not my room“ she was trying to save the situation and it felt like a joke. Then she told me she could not do anything, there was no supervisor on the property, and the only thing to do would be for me (not her) to send an email to the property. This is totally unacceptable and really bad customer service. After that, nothing else mattered. Breakfast was very good, but every day was exactly the same - last day we just had coffee and went out for breakfast. My recommendation, spend a little of more money, and stay in place where they really value as a customer and show they care about you . Situations like this can ruin your vacation.

L'hôtel Kavalari a l'avantage qu'en sortant de l'hôtel vous êtes dans l'hypercentre sur la rue commerciale avec une vue incroyable sur la baie, et sur les terrasses et balcons de l'hôtel vous avez un calme absolu et vous voyez très peu les autres clients de l'hôtel. Le matin vous avez une vue époustouflante sur la baie pendant le petit déjeuner et le soir vous êtes aux premières loges pour voir le couché de soleil. Seul b-mol : l'hôtel n'est pas à recommander aux personnes qui n'aiment pas grimper des escaliers.

vous ne payez que la vue l'hôtel reste un 2 étoiles bien médiocre ( douche , accueil , état général de la chambre) ! l'accueil est décevant. je ne suis trompé d'un jour dans ma réservation et alors même que l'hôtel avait des chambres de libre j'ai dû payer une seconde nuit complète y compris le petit déjeuner non consommé la veille. ceci dit stressé de la situation aucun mot de complaisance, compréhension ou d'écoute pour un hôtel qui se doit d'accueillir. simple machine à argent. pour le prix et l'accueil aller juste à côté il y a de l'offre. ils ne méritent pas votre argent

Hôtel juste bien placé face a la caldeira Les chambres sont vétustes , les éclairages sont blanc on a l impression de rentrer dans une chambre froide,la salle de bain même pas 2 m2 et d une tristesse à faire peur.la Porte d entrée de la chambre qui ne s ouvre même pas entièrement.Bref un piège à touristes . Et pour conclure mon ami et moi nous nous trompe’ sur le jour d arrivée et avons été obligé de repayer une chambre complète avec le petit déjeuner . La receptioniste n’a pas eu un geste de compassion, et même pas un geste commercial pour le petit déjeuner que nous n avion pas consommé’la veille. Un vrai attrape touristes D autres hôtels tous près sont bien plus accueillants et plus confortables

My stay was great... The staff was very attentive and helpful. Breakfast on the Caldera is incredibly beautiful. All rooms have a Caldera view, which is magical at night to see the lights of Santorini and any cruise ship anchored nearby.

This hotel was fantastic! Amazing views. Staff was so nice and helpful. Everything was in walking distance unless you had to take the bus to a neighboring town which was easy. Loved the shopping.
