Beautiful, quaint hotel, spotlessly clean. staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful . Pool area excellent. Fresh towels every day. Food at the pool and restaurant superb and very well priced. Location could not have been better right at the beginning of the promenade and 25 minutes from airport. I had an accident on the promenade and when I got back to the hotel Janus called the ambulance and took care of everything. When I returned to hotel staff could not do enough for me and brought breakfast to the room on a couple of occasions. Will definitely be back.

It was great that they let me check in early. Even though my English was poor, he explained things slowly and carefully so it was easy to understand. The view from the room was amazing. It was very clean and I was grateful that there were bathrobes and slippers. I thought the pool was heated, so I was disappointed that it was cold. I would like it to be clearly written in the room description. What was a little disappointing was the star illumination in the room. The equipment was out of battery and could not be used. Also, the air conditioner remote control did not respond.

Hotel is very close to the most famous blue domes, can take good photos from the hotels. Hotel, rooms, and the pool are clean, new and nicely decorated. Everything is well designed and vibe is superb. Our room has a terrace with a panoramic view to the caldera, and a pool facing to the blue domes. The price was at premium but it’s worth the price!! All the staffs are superb, polite, helpful, responsive, mindful, and considerate. Food and drinks, we had breakfast and lunch in our room, and dinner at the restaurant, all the food and drinks were fabulous, one of the best catering services we had in Greece for my trip, we didn’t expect that!!!! Love it! Thanks you for giving us such memorable and unforgettable memories.

Nevertheless take the 2-storey loft room. It is modern and clean. Living on the bed, you have a super view of the sea towards the island of Ios. Absolutely relaxing. The jacuzzi is a plus (but it has only one person space). There are a few minutes: the safe is really very small - there is a maximum cash bag or pass space. The division is used to - the shower is in the bottom of the bed, the bathroom in 1.Stock. This is just open with the toilet - that is what you call ”hear” and ”smelting” everything. People who are greater than 185cm could hit the roof more often. But: the view is top, The location at the beginning of Oia is top and the service over Whatsapp is top. Clear recommendation!

Good location, about 10 minutes walk to the city centre. To the Blue Roof Church (the church here is basically the Blue Roof, the Google map is marked in Fira, but I think Oia will look better, the picture is below) and the bus station is about 15 minutes walk. In winter, Oia will open fewer restaurants and supermarkets, many of which are not open, but it is more convenient to take pictures with fewer people (the night view is not as good as the summer, because non-operating hotels do not turn on the lights at night). Breakfast was average and not very tasty. We upgraded to the top-floor suite when we checked in. The scenery is particularly good. You can see the sea of love and a whole white cave room on the right. The sunrise and sunset are very beautiful (Sunset is the best known sunset. Those who do n’t like walking can see it in the hotel, and it is also very beautiful. I recommend that viewpoint to see it the next morning.)

Fanari Villas is the most anticipated cave hotel in my entire Greek itinerary. The price for one night is more than half a month's rent in Hong Kong. But the honeymoon trip is only once in a lifetime, and it is only once! Fanari Villas is located in Santorini Oia, about 10 minutes walk from the bus station, via some steps. It will be a bit painful to walk these steps under the high temperature with luggage, so it is best to ask the hotel before check-in if the bell boy can arrange for a bell boy to pick you up at the bus stop. There are many restaurants and shops near the hotel, and it is just above the scenic spot Ammoudi Bay, which is very convenient. The service was very good. Seeing that we were sweating, they gave us 2 cups of cold water to cool down. Knowing that we are here for our honeymoon, they gave us another bottle of red wine🍷. There is also a detailed introduction to hotel facilities and rooms. There is a restaurant in the hotel, and guests will receive discounts when dining in the restaurant. There is also a small cave pool and jacuzzi. However, there is no warm water, and it is only about 20 degrees at night, so the water is a bit freezing. There is an area with some beach chairs, where you can lie there and enjoy the sunset and sea view. The room has 2 floors and each floor has a terrace. There are sea views from the terrace and a windmill is also visible. There is a small jacuzzi on the lower terrace. Soaking in water, looking at the sea view, reading a book, drinking a glass of red wine/juice 🍹, this is life! On one side of the ground floor are coffee machines, kettles, cups, a dining table, and several chairs🪑. On the other side a seat like a chaise longue was made. The washroom is also on this floor, and there are many bottles of apivita bathroom products. Like most Greek hotels, only about half of the location is covered by walls, so a small amount of water will splash outside when taking a shower. On the upper floor, there is a double bed, TV 📺 and a safe. The hotel includes breakfast. There are not many choices of breakfast food, but the quality is high. The most important thing is that you can dine facing the invincible sea view! Since my one week stay in Oia with Amaya, I have been debating what my review would be. Here is where I weight out: 1. I would NOT stay at this brand / group again 2. It might be a risk if you manage to get 50% off the price as I did. But I would have been angry to have paid more 3. With the exception of the property manager, the onsite staff tried hard within the confines of what they had 4. At one point, these cave villas were probably as good as they could get. But with so much modernization, there are just too many better properties than these dated villas 5. The location is absolutely stunning. Getting the chance to stay in a MODERN white cave villa is like a bucket list item. So, here is the deal. I chose a week, in January – the VERY off season, because I wanted quiet and to return to Santorini. A big travel company offered this place at a very big discount. I jumped at the chance. What I experience, was a villa that was in a stunning location. And with a very stunning view. But the management of the villa. And the modernization of the villa is just not good enough anymore. WHAT I LIKED: - There was a attendant names “Vali” who was very helpful and responsive, despite the manager not being responsive. (Note to anyone staying here. You are SIXTY STEPS down the hill to your villa. You definitely need an attendant to help with luggage. Vali was marvelous. But if you have knew or other health problems, be aware that this is not an easy place to get up / down on. - The view was amazing. - But be aware that you are in the path at sunset to Sunset point. It becomes quite busy on your little path at that time - I am a cat lover. Be aware there are hundreds of cats near the villa. If you leave your doors or windows open – they do come in. Most are cautious. But you have to be comfortable with cats – or forever keep your windows doors closed. - The daily breakfast was marvelous. The person who cooked it and delivered it was attentive. She made generous breakfast that was delicious. The location, at the very near end of OIA was quiet WHAT I DID NOT LIKE: - The good news about booking in January is that 97% of the tourists have gone away. You really have the area to yourself. But – the flipside is that during this low season, there is a ton of renovation happening. In the day, when you want quiet and sunshine, you are getting drilling sounds. Hammering sounds. And a lot of local workers making improvements. You won’t get this in mid to high season – but this was not enjoyable. - The manager just was not professional. It began when a note was sent out, encouraging you to make a reservation with them for the transport from the airport. Ok. It sounded like a good idea. She promised a “reliable and very professional” service. For a price that I would learn is about double the price of others who will do the same on the island. I arrived to the airport. No sign. No transport. Everyone from the plane had left, and I was left. I eventually was able to reach

Speechless! HIGHLY recommend staying here if you’re looking for 5 star service. Konstandinos was on top of EVERYTHING, pre arrival, to arrival to everything in between, until the end. The room was surgically clean, breakfast was amazing every morning. The housekeeper was the kindest and most generous human you will meet along with the porter. Skip out on this place, and you will truly miss out on a magical experience. The room was incredible, views were mesmerizing from the room, the hot tub was PHENOMENAL. We were not expecting the breakfast, the top notch level of concierge service and the kindness of the staff. We will definitely be back for many more trips to the island and will always stay with them !!!

This place is literally in the spot all the photographers covet. They’ll be perched 50 ft behind you all day taking pics but it isn’t a bother because you have gated access. Therefore it’s relatively private and you have unequivocal access to stunning views and all the photos you could ever want. It’s even more peaceful in the evening and early morning. We had the room with the fully private jacuzzi and that was amazing. Thanos will take care of all your needs making sure your stay is exceptional. You can tell he cares about that immensely. Deepok cared for our luggage and he and Siri were there each day to clean and ask if we had any needs. A very courteous and friendly staff all around. My only tip for others is to ensure you have strong cellular service. The WiFi can be finicky. That said you shouldn’t find yourself on the internet as often or your doing something wrong imo.

My Family and I visited Santorini for the first time and I could not have selected a more perfect property for our trip. The location is optimal, it is close to center of town yet feels private. Our Villa was beautiful, spacious, spotless and well stocked with all of our needs. The view from our deck and jacuzzi was breathtaking. We were welcomed with a split of champagne and fresh fruit. After a long flight from the United states it was the perfect start to our trip. The fresh breakfast delivered every morning to our villa was delicious. Maryam the property manager was incredibly helpful prior to our arrival offering restaurant and activity recommendation's. Throughout our entire stay she was present daily to assist with all itinerary and transit needs. The entire staff was a delight, we cannot wait to visit again! Tara Taylor
