Top Couple Friendly Hotels in Santorini

Wow what an absolutely gem. Where do I start? There’s so many positive things to say I don’t know where to start. My husband booked this hotel at the last minute a couple days before departure. The hotel organised our pick up from the airport which was a stunning brand new Mercedes luxury mini bus which had enough glitz and and glam to satisfy the Kardashian’s! Once arriving at the hotel, the reception staff made us feel very welcomed with lots of information about the hotel and local area. To our surprise the hotel run a free service to and from Fira which is an added bonus as we knew we were a 30 minute walk away. Then we were taken to our room by a lovely man who carried out super heavy luggage down the steps to our room. Wow, the view was amazing. The room was spacious clean and fresh with a lovely bed bigger than two doubles pushed together. The bathroom had a rainfall shower with a handset built into an alcove which maybe tricky if your over 5’7! But don’t let that put you off, the views from every angle of the hotel more than make up for it. Breakfast was included which was simple but to a high standard nothing pre packed all fresh. The waiters were fantastic full of energy and knowledgeable. We booked our first evening meal at the hotel and the quality was amazing everything was done to a high standard. The only disappointment was we simply didn’t book longer. If your thinking of booking please do you won’t be disappointed. Absolutely fabulously fantastic, the Astro Palace is one of the true hidden gems in Santorini. To see it, to stay there, and to experience it, is to believe it, as words alone cannot describe the sheer beauty of this property. We stayed from 28th July 2022 through to 5th August 2022, to be honest, we didn't want to leave!🙈 The food was wonderful, the breakfast was buffet style but there was plenty selection from cold meat to full English. The dinner was wonderful too, the Greek Caeser salad was delicious 😋😋😋 The staff are one of the best and well trained I've ever experienced in my widely travelled life. The moment you set foot into the hotel, you're welcomed with the most beautiful smiles and you're treated like royalty. I would like to give special thanks to Hope, Anna-Maria, Efi, Natalie and Ahmed (the best front desk people I have ever seen), their warm welcome, their ever smiling faces, their knowledge, their care and their humanity is beyond description. Thank you all so much for making my wife and I feel like royalty and at home, your customer care is the best I have ever experienced, and I have travelled far and wide. We have found ”our” hotel in the beautiful island of Santorini, see you in 2023 by God's Grace!🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

Fab hotel with great service. The breakfast was delicious, so much to choose from👌 We booked a transfer from the airport through the hotel and this worked perfectly although we had a 4 hour delay. If you arrive after 11pm the resturant and bar is closed at the hotel and there is nothing near by to grab food or drink from. The free transfer to Fira worked really well for us. Drinks at the hotel are expensive and they only issue you 1 small bottle of water on arrival complimentary. I personal thought being a 5 star that tea, coffee, milk and water should have been provided but there is a lidl down the road to get supply's. Visiting the sister hotel opposite Volcano view is a must as the view from there are fabulous. We had a couple of very nice but expensive cocktails in there, but we'll worth it for the view at sunset. Both hotels lacked a vibe at night, although we went out of season so I am sure this isn't always the case. This was perfecf for us as we was wanting a relaxing break. Only criticism is that although we booked a triple room we only had 2 seats to sit outside. I had to ask twice for a second chair as it was taken away.

Thank you, Renta and staff, for a memorable stay in Santorini. I had some doubts about the suites’ location overlooking the Caldera and the climbing that might be required, but the hotel is easily accessible with lovely gentlemen who take your luggage down to your room and pick it up when you are ready to leave. The accommodations are roomy, well appointed, and have an incredible view of the sea. We had our own patio where we could eat an ample breakfast delivered every morning. On these same mornings when we were very lucky, a parade of donkeys and one mule would clop by the path near the hotel, carrying materials to nearby sites. Of course our stay in November meant that many restaurants and shops in Imeroviglia were closed, but Fira is nearby. Renta will call Nico to give you a ride into town. Both of them are so gracious and accommodating that we very much enjoyed our stay. Following Renta’s advice, we took the catamaran tour of the Caldera, a must for seeing the Caldera from the sea. The plus side of Santorini in November is a complete lack of crowds. Our weather was sunny and in the seventies every day, which may have been a Greek anomaly but perfect for us. I highly recommend the Aqua Luxury suites and staff.

Loved our weeks stay in the Santorini Palace Hotel! We’d chosen a room with a private outdoor whirlpool which also gave you access to a proper semi private outdoor pool with loungers which only a handful of rooms had access to. Both of which were perfect for cooling off in the July heat! The bedroom was very nice, comfortable, huge bed, large fridge, safe, hairdryer etc. great shower! Well decorated. Plenty of plug points. Balcony with whirlpool was a great size, ocean view and sunrises. (Would suggest putting more comfortable furniture out there). Amazing location, Firastefani gives you the best of both worlds, quiet chilled area, nice restaurants on your doorstep, and a short walk to the very lively area with bars and shops and the many many tourists. The incredible sunsets are a two minute walk away from the hotel. Breakfast was as you’d expect. Good selection with variations everyday. The staff are wonderful, really friendly and helpful. Huge thanks especially to Maria (reservations) who helped me arrange birthday balloons to decorate our room as a surprise one night, and they also provided a bottle of sparkling wine with compliments to also say happy birthday! She also helped me book a surprise sunset catamaran boat trip where they collected us from the hotel. 100% recommend this trip, it was incredible! Lots of swimming in the sea and the most perfect way to experience the sunset! Also thanks to Spyros and Maria (reception) who were super friendly and helpful at various points during our stay too. I hope the hotel management read this and recognise these team members, they’re a credit to you. Making guests feel like genuine guests is so important. If you stay here, highly recommend going to Osmo East Side restaurant which is 2 mins away out the rear entrance. Excellent value and service. Santorini can be a very expensive place, but look around and you’ll find value for money.

The sunset view of the caldera from Rocabella is breathtaking! The hotel property is very clean and beautifully decorated and landscaped. When we arrived, Giannis Amparlzis greeted us warmly and gave us an orientation to the island and the hotel. Giannis assisted us with restaurant reservations and taxis. He was delightful! The hotel is located on the trail from Fira to Oia. We enjoyed the hike and watching numerous hikers pass by each day from our balcony. The breakfast was delicious, especially the omelet and pancakes. We hope to visit again!

We had a fantastic stay at Athina Luxury Suites- the staff was friendly and hospitable, the room was clean, and the view was unbeatable! There was almost no reason to leave the hotel because it was so good from our room. There was breakfast in our room every morning, and we ordered room service a few times. The restaurant has one of the best views I’ve ever experienced, and had great food with attentive service. The room service was always very quick, and we felt like valued guests. I would highly recommend staying here, and would most definitely stay here again if we return to Santorini.

Going in early April, the price of 2000, although it is also expensive, but compared with June and August, even if it is very favorable. We were two big and one small, and the child was 5 years old. The result was told that I could only stay 2, and then the child added 100 euros. After adding the money, we upgraded to the suite, which is very good. Breakfast was ordered on the previous night and explained the meal time. The next day, the waiter will be delivered on time, the variety is still rich, less points, or can not eat haha
