Great wine selection, food was good but lack of English speaking staff.

We loved staying at Ritz and it made our trip very memorable. Here are some of the highlights and areas of improvement after my experience. Pros: 1. Stunning environment and facilities , infinity pools, private beach,buildings are all remarkable! 2. Delicious breakfast with many options to choose from 3. Friendly staff service- staffs greet with smiles, check on us frequently to meet our needs. We even got the hand written card in my native home language which was very heart warming. Cons: 1. Check in process at the register was very slow for foreign guests. 2. The bathtub in the room had water-leak and couldn’t collect the water . We are told to use plastic bath cover for the use 3. Apparently there was shuttle bus between the hotel and the cdf mall. However I wasn’t informed of the shuttle hours information. Only after i arranged personal trip to the cdf mall, i realized such service was available at the hotel. I wish i was informed of the service information in advance. Over all, i would recommend Ritz and love to be back again.

Well, this was an interesting trip to Sanya compared to many others. We’ve the experience of Ritz hotels in other countries so far, however this was different. One of the major difference was the overall feeling of being treated like a 1 time customer that wouldn’t needed to offer comforting service nor attitude (Very wrong in anyways) . Later we have learned that the main clientele are overnight tour customers, so they go and never come back. Second of all facility has been over used with partially taken care, swimming pools are from history channel, lobby bar has no ac but tons of dust and difficult to describe smells, stuff dare to talk to you kinda feeling. We made a decision to stay in a villa before we come (luckily) and enjoyed it except the days it rained. The way the roof drain was made to fall in to the pond with a big splash. Irritating unless you are ready to sleep next to splashy waterfall (check the pic). We tried both seafood and barbecue restaurants, both has a very ordinary food that are about to shape shift due to heat in the air as I believe they are short of chilling equipments both restaurants had excessive price as you could guess. First day we tried the main breakfast area, all the food was very ordinary and haven’t even seen a piece of cheese for many foreigners we have seen staying there. Starting from second day we had the breakfast at villa area, which was kind of better however limited number of tables and breakfast selection with 2cmx2cm sized cheeses (2 pcs of each type total 4 types). Last day we have requested 4 pcs of boiled eggs for our kids as a snack during a long drive back to mainland. Face we saw was very unhappy, waited for a while than asked again. Answer was that they only have 2 boiled eggs, I was about to fume but my wife was in charge so I kept silent. Anyway than they bring 2 boiled eggs and asked my wife to sign “Take away food disclaimer” (check the picture) which was odd but we signed it. Eventually we paid for 5 star service and ended up with being our money wasted. We come Sanya at least once a year and been to most of the 5 star hotels around here, we will not repeat this mistake with Ritz Sanya again.

The experience was very good as you would expect from the Ritz Carlton, and the front desk staff were very friendly and kind. The beach was also very nice. However, I did feel that for the price, there might have been better options in the area that were more worth it. Worth comparing a bit more if you are looking right now.

I had an excellent experience at Ritz Carlton Yalong Bay. I will recommend to anyone. Thanks to Zoey who did everything to make this stay smooth and enjoyable.

Beautiful hotel with amazing grounds and pools. Activities for kids and families are excellent. Our personal concierge Niki was wonderful. She looked after all our needs and answered questions really quickly. Breakfast buffet was tops. I recommend including some more pool-side lunch and dinner options for guests. Overall, the service was outstanding.

Amazing stay in the Ritz-Carlton. They provide everything you expect from a 5 stars hotel: great service, good food, amazing views and wonderful facilities. We will repeat 100%!!

Our butler, Niki, is very responsive and took care of us very well. Even in times of us having issues in our room, she resolved it totally in the same day. In addition, my kid likes the fun activities there. Thank you for everything during the stay.

Very nice Hotel, great location and a perfect room view pool directly at the pool, amazing. The beach is very close and the weather was great. Food is good. All in all, perfect. Will come back soon.

This was my second time staying at the Ritz and it was another amazing and relaxing trip! We booked the garden villa and it was everything we expected. Our butler Jarvis was very attentive and accommodating and made our trip the best it could be! He really was one of the best parts of the trip. He booked our reservations for dinner in a timely manner and always made sure we were taken care of! He also brought our deliveries from the lobby to our villa. Breakfast was good with many options. The facilities were all completed from my last stay and were very nice. The meals offered at the various restaurants are very delicious and worth the money. Overall, my stay was amazing! I will definitely we be staying here every time I travel to Sanya. A few updates/ suggestions I would recommend . The villa pool is covered by trees so it doesn’t get much sunlight in the winter. So I would recommend trimming the trees that surround the pool. The deck for our villa also needed some updates because it had many loose boards. The last thing is, with the epidemic situation, I wish they would have enforced everyone to wear masks at the buffet. Besides that the stay was nothing short of fantastic! Will stay here again for sure. Again, thank you Jarvis for your hard work during this rough time and while being short staffed. Looking forward to our next trip.
