Grand Metropark Bay Hotel Sanya

Check-in took a bit longer than expected, but we received complimentary welcome fruit and a free room upgrade. The night view and city view were stunning. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the room was very spacious. When we checked out, the doorman saw us off and even helped open the car door.

The hotel's front desk and environment were excellent, with a very open view. The service attitude was also superb, and breakfast was very satisfying. The swimming pool was clean and hygienic, and even offered fish therapy. The room was clean and tidy, making it perfect for travel.

The environment is clean and tidy. The location is excellent, right next to Luhuitou and close to the city center. The nearest beach is Dadonghai. Check-in was fast, and the staff were quick to resolve any issues. Breakfast was delicious, and there were still many people dining at 9:30 AM. The Sour Soup Hotpot at the restaurant was very tasty and appetizing. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time. The hotel staff were very polite and always greeted guests with a smile 😊

The hotel has a great sense of decor and the rooms are spacious. There's also a swimming pool, and after a long day of sightseeing, you can enjoy a fish spa back at the hotel. The hotel's BBQ late-night snacks and congee are excellent. The staff's service attitude is also very good. I highly recommend the sea-view rooms; the view is unbeatable.

The bedding was incredibly comfortable, just the right firmness. Even though the room faced the sea, it wasn't damp at all. I highly recommend the pork hock rice at the restaurant; I ate it for several days straight. Last but not least, a big thank you to all the front desk staff for their prompt responses to guests' needs.

Environment: The surroundings are great, located right by the yacht marina. Service: The hotel service is excellent. This hotel turned out to be the same one I stayed at three years ago! I brought my grandparents this time and we unknowingly booked the same place again. Facilities: The hotel rooms are very spacious with great views. However, because it's an older property, some of the facilities are a bit dated. But that's a minor point, it's still excellent value for money.

Exceeded expectations! The day before, I stayed in a spacious, clean, and new guesthouse, but a well-managed hotel simply can't be beaten. I was initially worried it wasn't recently renovated, but upon arrival, I found the room to be large, clean, and comfortable. The sea view from the room was stunning, and it offered great value for money. It's not too far from the Summer Shopping Mall at Dadonghai, just a few kilometers away, and you'll likely pass it when going out. There are all sorts of delicious food options there, especially in the evening. If you don't feel like going out, delivery services are also available. When we extended our stay, we even saw other guests doing the same. I have to give a shout-out to the front desk staff, especially the gentleman who was there around 8-9 PM on the 24th. I messed up my booking extension on Ctrip, but he was incredibly nice and patient and helped me sort it out. I highly recommend this hotel. I'd call this the best value hotel in Sanya! I've been to Sanya many times, and this was truly the best value for money experience yet. I was attending a conference at the Sanya International Yacht Center, and found this hotel nearby. The lobby has a Southeast Asian resort vibe, very similar to hotels in Thailand or the Philippines. I originally booked a mountain view room, but the front desk upgraded me to a sea view. The room had a large balcony with a very open view, directly overlooking the yacht marina. The hotel is right on the shipping channel, so watching boats depart and return in the mornings and evenings was a beautiful sight! The hotel's price was a pleasant surprise; Sanya hotels really are competitive. There were quite a few Russian guests, and the outdoor pool was mostly occupied by them. Breakfast was also very extensive. Customer service contacted me in advance, but constantly pushing me to write a review was a bit off-putting. They're probably doing it for performance metrics, but I don't like being rushed – if I have a good experience, I'll naturally want to share it.

The location is great, very close to Luhuitou Park. There are various room types to choose from. Breakfast is plentiful, but you might have to wait if there's a large tour group. Only one dining area opens at 7 AM, the other one opens at 7:30 AM. The outdoor pool isn't crowded. Check-out and invoicing are convenient.
