The room is large, the kitchen utensils are complete and clean, and the husband said that it is very easy to use. The top spray of the shower is very large and very good, and the air conditioner has a little noise. The butler has a good service. There is a commissary in the community, and I found out when I went out. Suitable for driving by car and buying vegetables and cooking by yourself, very quiet, the night view stars are very beautiful.

Me and my husband stayed in the Guest-room - double occupancy. +: The hotel exterior is beautiful. It is well located next to the outlets and the Liupancun Village food street. The beach is 8 min driving. The hotel is not new but clean. The view from the room is great and you can hear the birds in the morning! The pool is good. -: The breakfast is mainly local Chinese food with almost no variety of western food besides bread and fruit. - The room is not spacious for 2 people - not enough luggage space room to open and use your luggage. - There are animals on the territory of the hotel (llamas, alpacas, peacocks and even a dear). It might be fun for children but definitely not good for those animals( Overall, the the hotel is nice and cost effective.

This hotel has the most beautiful surroundings,with the views of the lake, nearby mountain and national forest park.Birds chirp happily and lots of lush make you feel you are in a tropical paradise. Fish ponds around the reception area are also adding up to the whole feeling of tranquility. It is particularly suitable for families and kids, predominantly Chinese people. The front desk service is always smiling,however only two of them can speak English.I was especially impressed by the manager Margaret who made sure I settled well.My first room has a pool access . However,that pool is shared with 3 other similar rooms and the apartment on the 2 Nd floor which was occupied by a family with 3 kids..They were inconsiderate and noisy, would swim until late at night disturbing my peaceful sleep, which os why I moved to a lobby room, apparently smaller one with no bath tub.In a way I was downgraded and was hoping for some compensation,but nothing was initiated.No worries. That still did not spoil the rest of my stay in this wonderful resort.My friend came to join me and we extended my stay fro 3 more days. I would recommend this hotel to couples and families mainly. The best nature in Sanya!

Perfect beach resort for the family with kids, thank you for the hospitality Horizon, but do it more friendly for international tourists, not only for the domestic guests!

Firstly the concierge at the front desk was easy to contact before arriving at the hotel. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary so I asked them to plan ahead whatever they could and they prepared some cake and a romantic bed setup. The front desk clerk was available at most times during the day if we had any questions or requests. The selected villa room was spacious and very comfortable. Room service did a good job daily and they were very understanding. The hotels facilities are pretty great. All maintained well. The location of the hotel is superb for yalong bay, it’s walking distance from the beach. The breakfasts weren’t bad either, and the breakfast time was up until 12:00 which is amazing. This was a fantastic experience and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Sanya for leisure.

Excellent value and very good service. We had moved from a lousy hotel in Sanya Bay and wished we could have stayed here longer. The pool is big and clean and great for kids. Room service was fast in giving us more towels. There is a nice beach just minutes away. The area has many restaurants. I. wished we had booked here earlier. 物超所值，服务非常好。我们从三亚湾的一家糟糕的酒店搬来，希望我们能在这里呆更长时间。游泳池又大又干净，非常适合孩子们。客房服务很快给了我们更多的毛巾。几分钟外就有一个漂亮的海滩。这个地区有很多餐馆。我真希望我们早点预订这里。很满意!

The hotel is beautifully located, but getting there was a bit complicated. The taxi driver dropped us off at the entrance gate of Yalong Park, and we had difficulty reaching the hotel. Despite sending an email in advance asking for the WeChat contact, we received no response. We only managed to reach the hotel by phone with the help of a kind lady at the entrance, who arranged for our luggage to be picked up at the park gate. The room (Peacock villa nr. 5017) was truly beautiful and worth seeing, simply wonderful. It was also very clean, and the air conditioning was strong and effective. We dined at the Thai restaurant, but the dishes had a strong Chinese influence, which might not appeal to all Western guests. Unfortunately, the Western restaurant was closed during our stay. We were transported to the various attractions in the park by a VIP shuttle bus. Leo provided us with his WeChat contact, which made exploring the park possible despite our lack of Chinese language skills. English is not spoken at the hotel, which made communication challenging. Leo had to send us the tickets for the attractions via WeChat, which was a bit complicated. It would have been more convenient if the tickets were provided at check-in. Overall, the hotel is truly worth seeing, but one night is sufficient in our opinion. Checking out was also hassle-free, but the 1000 RMB deposit was only refunded upon request. We particularly want to thank Leo for his exceptional efforts in ensuring we had a wonderful stay. His assistance was invaluable and greatly enhanced our experience. In summary, a beautiful hotel with some logistical challenges, but definitely worth a visit.

Hardware: It opened in October 2023. First, the rooms are very new, with complete supplies and the fragrance is also the same as Huayu, which makes you feel at home. Second, the public area, the air conditioning in the lobby is strong, and the sitting area has a holiday feeling. I only swam in the cloud pool. The view is good and suitable for young children. The lifeguard feels very responsible, but there is no shade and I was tanned in two colors in one day (I think it is the only small problem of Huayu, which should be improved at any time. The children's water fortress is not experienced in another area. It is not very large and suitable for young children. There are many children's activities. The staff is very patient. The indoor area is small and suitable for children under 5 years old, and the semi-outdoor area is suitable for older children. Service: The housekeeper Vivi is nothing to say. She responds to needs quickly and will also take the initiative to serve. Five-star praise, maybe it is a new hotel, the waiters are very energetic, and the service I usually experience with my children is better. I didn't think anything at the time... until I changed to a five-star hotel in Haitang Bay and found that Huayu's service is really average. Although the public area of ​​the swimming pool in Haitang Bay is better than Huayu's innate conditions , but the service really ruined my impression. Next time, I will choose to stay at Huayu Yalong Bay ✌➕ Dadonghai️! Meals: The breakfast is delicious, small and exquisite. Although there are not many children's meals, they are very solid and thoughtful. My daughter loves chocolate waterfalls and eats a lot. I feel that Huayu hotels have this. I also had the hotel dinner buffet, which is semi-buffet, very fresh, suitable for people who like white food. My mother didn't enjoy it very much, but the steamed fish 🉑, some single orders are still relatively stable, maybe we didn't plan what to order for the self-service~ The coffee in the lobby bar is OK, and the dessert is slightly sweet. Beach: It takes 2 to 3 minutes to walk down the elevator. We went out from the door of the Chinese restaurant~ Go forward, the sea is still beautiful in Yalong Bay, but the sand is a little coarse. It feels okay in Yalong Bay. The lack of shade is still a problem. Suggestions: The room is very good, and it is very suitable for young children to walk around. It is small and exquisite and very convenient. There is also a parent-child restaurant. It should be the main parent-child route. You can consider adding a little garden vacation feeling⛱️

Overall: great stay, room as advertised, hotel clean and comfortable, great breakfast, near the beach, 20 mins by car from Yalong Bay Railway Station. Hotel's English name on Didi app is Xinghua Taofang Holiday Inn (see picture). Pros: our room (5th floor, facing the bay) was as advertised and spacious; had a nice view of the little artificial lake and a bit of the sea. Didn't try the bathtub but the shower temperature/pressure was fantastic. The hotel staff were really polite and helpful. Nice swimming pool and gym though they're not huge. Breakfast was included in our room fare and it was well worth it! Lots of choices, both from Asian and Western cuisine. Cons: not much really, but for a room that has a fridge and little electric stove, it would have been nice to have some plates and cutlery provided. That said, they let us borrow a knife and plate from the hotel's restaurant which was nice. Personally I would not keep caged animals either (there was a bird in a small cage in the lobby).

This has been my third trip to Sanya and I must say this hotel left a lot to be desired. My personal goal for choosing this hotel was A. Trip.com is still using great photos of the place that sold that island retreat to me and B. to have the resort vibe where I would not have to leave the comforts unless it was for a good reason. However on arrival and inspection my husband and I quickly realized we would be seeing a lot more of Yalong Bay than we had planned with almost every meal being eaten at other hotels with much less of an “off season “ vibe. The location is great and accessible to the beach but the hotel boasts pools(more than 1 being important) however on inspection only the kiddie pool and half of the main pool were allowed to be used. The pool in front of the McDonalds was semi drained and cornered off despite staff members cleaning in it as if it were being used. The main pool divided up into 4 areas was also not in full use with the entire right side being forbidden. Many of the other pool like areas that originally had been marked as swimming areas also had signs up saying it was a “landscaping pool - do not enter”. Another unsettling part is the incessant douyin content creators who set up camp at the stairs of the only usable pool to film the general area and talk all day in shifts with no real consequence or idea of privacy. As for dining the “western style dining” was definitely not catering to westerners unless you count rubbery eggs and dry bacon with a side of rotisserie corn sausage as a “full English” the dining hall itself is in two areas indoor (with broken upholstery and exceptionally dirty flooring) and outside with chairs that resemble public swimming pool seating in the 80s with a dose of tetanus on the legs. The evening dining is also something to be avoided if you have no way of understanding Chinese or do not wish to get food poisoning since meat is kept outside in dishes for you to choose your own BBQ options while no regard for cross contamination or food allergies are applied. The hotel rooms themselves were the redeeming feature of this hotel with daily cleaning and good views of the mountain and ocean depending on your choice of room when booking. It is also worth noting there is no room service but there are very convenient meituan drop boxes located outside the hotel lobby. Cleaning staff were super friendly and other hotel staff seemed to be divided into “older” and “younger” the younger of the bunch being much more helpful and more recognizable as people working in the hospitality industry. Other amenities such as the spa (was not occupied and not on offer) and the gym was well equipped however some machines were of the older more unreliable variety and with no working air conditioning you could potentially be working out in a sauna. On arrival you are offered a complementary coupon for one afternoon tea set, the pictures used for advertising this special offer are unfortunately false advertising. With an odd assortment of savory and sweet cookies and snacks it was anything other than something I would purchase myself. Our first impression was that the hotel was in an “off season” but on closer examination of hotels in the surrounding area we found other hotels to have daily scheduled activities, full use of amenities and to be run by actual hospitality staff and not by untrained locals like the LAN Sanya - ocean view resort. Unfortunately this hotel would get a 10/10 would not recommend to foreigners and would not book again from me.
