We spend 4 wonderful nights at the Caldeira guest house in their family room. The comfortable beds, ensuite shower room and ocean view terrace were perfect for the 4 of us to spread out and chill. The overwhelming beauty of the island combined with the location of the guest house are second to none! We were also fortunate enough to surf some of the amazing waves that are just a few minutes walk from the guest house. David and his team were incredibly welcoming and ensured our stay was comfortable from the moment we arrived. It was everything we were hoping for and more. We can’t wait to visit again. A little piece of heaven !

Amazing place to retreat to ! If you like somewhat remote, quiet and tranquil, consider this unique spot. Getting there is half the adventure. Good hikes- staring at the ocean-perhaps a bit of surfing if all things align. We had private room, but the ‘hostel’ room was the most spacious we’d ever seen. Meals and company was varied and added to experience. Would we go again? In a heartbeat.
