It's more like a place for a weekend getaway, sitting on the terrace and having breakfast, with the rolling mountains in front of you, overlooking the main palaces and manors of Sintra. The breakfast is rich, especially the bread is still hot and tastes great, it is said to be ordered from a village workshop. 10 minutes walk from the center and the restaurant recommendations are great. There is free parking. It seems that the cities in Portugal are not easy to drive in the city. It climbs uphill and downhill for a while. If you drive by yourself, you can park your car at the hotel and walk or Uber to attractions and restaurants. The hotel service is also very patient and provides the help you need.
