I decided to take my two small daughters on this vacation after losing my husband two months ago to regain some peace and calmness. Let me tell you, those were not to adjectives we experienced while staying on this property. The inside was nice, and definitely as clean as the ad explains. Kudos to that. On the first night in the office was closed, so I had to stop by the next morning. Upon stopping in I let them know about the pool which I had noticed was full of branches, leaves and you could visibly see the green algae on the bottom of the pool. The yard and patio were also filled with dead foliage. Totally understandable. Should been cleaned prior to my check in. But if they were willing to clean up while we were out. Also totally okay. Instead I was hit with a “Ill to my best to call maintenance and see if I can get them out to come clean it up today.” And I went about my day. Maintainence never showed up. Day 2, I call again. Again I’m told they are working on it. Again go about our day. Come home from dinner, there is a flood in the master bathroom, leaving about 6 inches of water throughout the bathroom and bedroom. In pure panic I tried soaking up some of the water with towels as I called the office to get help. They send over two maintenance men around 9:40 PM who were professional, and let me know some type of make up wipes (which I do not use, and the complimentary ones were still sitting in the spot I found them in) but left two commercial size ( about 4ft high 3ft wide) dehumidifiers in the master bedroom where my daughters and myself were sleeping. They told us we could not go in the room that night the blowers needed to stay on, so we spent the night on the couch. The next morning around 10 AM I had called the office to find out when they were coming to remove the blowers, that’s when they became not so friendly and welcoming and began to tell me they are not removing the blowers for the remainder of my stay. I asked to be moved to a different property they did offer me another room which was filthy, had something that was similar looking to a hospital bed in the living room. And to be honest with you I was not okay with that situation and declined to stay at this second property. At this point I’m pretty upset. The pool is not clean, in fact they sent a maintenance person with a scrub brush for the pool and made it 10 times more mucky then it already was. The room and bathroom are out of order and sounds like a helicopter is in there, the yard is quiet literally disgusting and now the office has a major attitude. The supposed manager Corey who promised me the pool would be taken care of would not get on the phone and speak with me. The supposed assistant manager Tammy flipped seemingly like a switch when she did not like to hear the truths I was telling her. In fact becoming disrespectful, presuming that I do not work? Telling me her co workers personal woes and trying to now blame me for the flood saying I must’ve flushed a was
