Very convenient location, quiet despite being opposite the Sarasota Airport, and room itself was very comfortable. Definitely enjoyed staying here! Only thing is the gym did not have towels and equipment wipes despite having the shelves and a wipe dispenser, and despite having notified the front desk twice these issues were not dealt with during my 7 day stay. Other than that everything was good.

This hotel is ready for the wrecking ball. Serious problems with electrics. Several sockets in room216 not working. Coffee maker not working. Elevator not working( we were offered a room on the ground floor when checking in for a four day stay but assured the elevator would be fixed by the following day )I prefer a high floor so opted for second floor. Elevator was out of order for duration of my stay.Ice machine out of order on second floor. Pool advertised on Bonvoy app hotel description as heated. It isn't. It rained during my stay and the corridor on the GROUND floor flooded.Carpet was wet for duration of stay and ceiling tiles removed. A pervasive smell of dampness and mould in the room and a dehumidifier was provided indicating that this is an ongoing problem. We had a walk in shower rather than a bath which was great if it hadn't been filthy. We opted for our room to be cleaned. This wasn't done and we had to seek out cleaners to remove rubbish. No clean towels provided or replenishment of limited amenities. Go elsewhere.

A room with a lovely view. Quite a walking distance to restaurants and everything but average hotel restaurant for late dinner. Very spacious room and toilet or breakfast. They have to send serviceman twice to fix the heat/room control. Sliding door to balcony was heavy to open and close. The deal was average I would say.

The staff was friendly and helpful and accommodated my early check in. They invited me to a pool party that night and warned that it might be noisy. However, my room (#422) was on the corner away from the pool, and I didn't hear a thing. It was next to the elevator, but I heard no noise from that or from guests in the hallway. I enjoyed the mid 20th century accents of the hotel decor. On my second morning I discovered that there was only decaf and tea in the coffee maker selection, but after a call to the front desk, regular coffee pods were quickly delivered to my room. The bathroom was spacious and spotless, as was the bedroom, but I wish I could have made the shower a bit hotter.

Martha Gomez at the front desk was AMAZING!! She helped me out with internet issues that I was having. Her attitude and personality was very nice. The stay was great, I came for a business trip and stayed 5 days, it was after Hurricane Helene so the pool was closed. The food was great at the restaurant. Overall would recommend if you’re stopping by Sarasota.

We had a great stay here. Some of the reviews made me second guess our upcoming stay, but I am glad we moved forward. The hotel is great, the staff is even better. Is this the newest Ritz out there? No. However, it's the nicest spot in Sarasota. The dining is great and the beach club is the perfect day to spend the day. We were there off season in August, some of the schools had just started. On a few days there were only a handful of guests at the beach club pool area. It was great! We used our rental car to get to the beach club so we wouldn't need to wait for the shuttle. It's a short drive. Such a really nice relaxing stay! I will say, the new St. Regis will give this Ritz a run once it opens this fall. It looks amazing, so they will need to step up their game.

We booked to stay on our wedding night but were slightly underwhelmed this wasn’t even acknowledged. The hotel was clean on the whole with a quick check-in. The rooms were a decent size. Thankfully we brought toiletries with us as the bathroom amenities were empty.

Not a good start. Thought I would try a ”hip” place with a great location in Sarasota for a business trip. First, no acknowledgement of gold elite. Maybe that wasn't good enough. Second, I didn't know there was only cleaning every other day. Couldn't even be guaranteed cleaning upon request per the front desk team member but he said he will try. I think Motel 6 cleans your room each day if you ask. Then, there was no internet, at least not in the inside of the room on the seventh floor. It did connect for a few minutes in the bathroom which backs up against the hallway, but that's not where I wanted to have to spend my time just to be connected to what came up as an insecure internet connection. Again, the front desk team said that the service comes and goes. Isn't this what you want to hear for $300+ per night? The truth is it deserves no stars, but the gym looks great and I am hoping it gets better. If not, I will respectfully ask for a refund.

Kathleen was very nice, attentive and very helpful. I looked forward to seeing her every morning at breakfast. She wasn't afraid to talk to people and help people at breakfast. Everyone just stood around, didn't help or even talk to you. You could tell that Kathleen loved her job and what she does. The front desk staff was amazing (Maria). Thank you to all the staff who made our 7 day vacation amazing!! My husband and I will definitely return. I forgot to mention the availability to ride the bikes was a pleasant experience and all the shops, mall and stores was in walking distance.

BBINThe hotel has ample parking, friendly staff, clean and hygienic facilities, and simple breakfast. It is less than a 20-minute drive from the beach. I will stay in the next opportunity and I highly recommend it.
NNicola DWe came in as a late check in and the night person Eric was amazing! Make sure to give him a pat on the back or an Amazon gift card lol he was awesome he definitely helped my family out with a smooth check in. Thank you Eric! Oh also everyone at this location was very nice. It was clean bed was comfy and breakfast was tasty and the pool was warm at night.
Amazing innovative hotel. From the moment you walk in your senses are filled with delight. From the gorgeous scent in the lobby to the visually beautiful art displayed everywhere, its a dream. The staff here was lovely from the front desk to the pool bar staff to the restaurant downstairs... impeccable! We had an amazing driver named Jim that shuttled us wherever we wanted to go and had really good suggestions and knowledge of the area. This hotel is a definite must when in town even if you're just popping in to see the art or have a drink.
GGuest UserFor the money this was a great stay. The Front Desk Service was awesome, the room was clean. The pool was great and not busy at all. The maintenance guy was always working to keep everything nice.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Have recommended to others.
A HUGE little improvement would be to get some command strip hangers for towels, or just install hooks.
We also did wonder why the shuttle guys would not pick up right at the resort, that is not the hotels fault, but we did get pretty wet in the rain waiting on the corner.
AandersoncarolI booked a room before hurricane Ian because hotel is away from storm surge area and my condo is in zone b. Unfortunately, I only got to use your amenities briefly before a power outage took away electricity for most room lights and hall lights, tv, a/c, elevator, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, internet, etc. Not a single outlet to charge phones. The staff managed breakfast since they had power in one room and one tv was on in the lobby. Your manager said it was FPL fault.
Before that, only one elevator was working. A staff person said one had been out at least 4 months. This seems like neglect.
When Ian was nearing, the wind popped a window and the latch would not hold. Maintenance problem? At least there was quick response and a staff person drilled hole to put in hardware to fasten it closed.
All power went out on Wednesday ~ 2, due to the storm for sure this time. Thursday am the staff put together a reasonable cold breakfast in mostly darkness. I was surprised that the hotel did not have more than a few battery lights for lobby and breakfast area. This is Florida, even smaller storms often cause outages and the need for lightning is something that should be anticipated. About $50 to $100 worth of little led battery lanterns would have helped a lot. The stairwells were so dark and unsafe also. I think this is also neglect.
GGuest UserThis Hampton Inn has a nice clean feel to it. It almost feels like a brand new hotel because it is. It was built not too long ago and that makes it newer which is why it looks and smells new. It smells new as well. They just built this place not to long ago which is what explains the smelling new is from. Thank you Hampton inn for a sexy stay!
HHailey AnnunziataAfter staying at hotels around the same price for a few days that were dirty and roach infested, surestay was a breath of fresh air! The Sarasota location on north tamiami is extremely clean and well kept. Sandra at the front desk was extremely helpful and so nice! For the low price this hotel is a hidden gem!
WWard HThis hotel is newly renovated and was extremely clean. The rooms were clean and bright and the bed and all furniture were new. The breakfast was your typical Choice Hotel meal with eggs, sausage and waffles, along with the juices, rolls, etc. Mary and Angel at the front desk were just as pleasant as they could be. Kinia the housekeeper does a great job and Maria in the dining area was on top of things. It was a treat meeting the staff of the hotel. Great job folks! We would definitely stay here again.
AAnthony SOur stay at this hotel in sarasota was excellent. the room was clean and comfortable with all essential well taken care of. the location was convenient, close to siesta key beach & interstate I-75. the staff was friendly and helpful through out our stay. overall it was great value for the price. check inn kiosk was very great and new experience, and i would definitely stay here again.
RRussellJosephStaff very friendly with the exception of this lady named Denise. She is the only one whomis ride for no reason. I feel that she she not be in the customer service industry. When she is there by herself she is harming your name/brand. She doesn't even know how the Wyndham rewards work. I am a diamond mem
ber and get a free upgrade to a suite when I asked her About it she got an attitude with me and told me I didn't know what I was talking about so I even showed her where it says it on the Wyndham app. Other than that all the staff is great John the G.M is probably one of the best managers I have seen at a hotel. It is a great location being just a few minutes from downtown.
