Hilton Dalaman Sarigerme Resort & Spa

We love this hotel and this was our 13th visit - so we know the hotel really well and obviously rate it highly. We travel with Jet2 and arrived around midnight - but checkin is always simple and quick so we were in the room quickly. We expected the rooms to have been upgraded this year based on previous conversations and on the 22xx corridor that was the case - laminate flooring, new curtains and refreshed furniture - in same style as other rooms. The rooms are clean and the staff work hard and do a good job in servicing the rooms. We upgraded to the Lake House for our second week and they are stunning and it’s a nice change of scene. They have been well designed - we had an upper Villa with steep steps down to the deck but we found it worth the money for the new experience. The hotel was quiet at this time of year - so no trouble getting beds anywhere at all - the great thing here is there are different types of space - poolside, beach, open areas and shaded areas that people are naturally spread out so even the early morning risers head off to separate areas - we like to just chill by the pool and use the pool bars for a drink or snack. All three bars - Citrus , Vento and Breeze offer slightly different options but they are all good. The staff and the service make this place and we see so many of the same staff each year which is lovely but also a great sign for the hotel that they can keep staff and also promote people through the ranks. We always have breakfast outdoors and have the same waiter - Husceyn each year who adds little touches but just knows his job. The buffet in the Sarigerme is huge and caters for all the nationalities - so always something to eat and high quality - you can see the chefs take huge pride in the food. We had an anniversary meal at the Chinese this year and it was great to see Eray and Fatos again. They run a great restaurant and the food is lovely. These guys also work at the pool restaurants and again these provided lovely options for lunch as well as regular drinks. My wife used the Spa a couple of times and it was good. The entertainment team work really hard and lovely to see Yulia again - working hard and engaging people in activities and for the shows. The gardens and grounds here are amazing - so well tended - the gardeners work tirelessly and there are amazing fruit trees - limes, pomegranate, apples as well as the shrubs and planting. It makes the ambience of the hotel so peaceful. We love the hotel and hard to find fault. I would say that the ‘Hilton’ element isn’t big - we booked with Jet2 so don’t earn points - when we upgraded direct at the Hotel - No Points, when we wanted to use points to pay for upgrade that’s also a No - so for HH members there is nothing special - but for us it doesn’t need the ‘H’ to be an amazing hotel with fantastic staff all set on helping you have a good holiday.

We have visited the hotel multiple times and it’s didn’t disappoint yet again. My daughter loved the kids clubs, in particular azra and bileghan. They were superb. Unfortunately we won’t be going next year which is so disappointing. It’s just a fabulous hotel with amazing facilities!

This is our second visit this year and can’t wait to come back next year. Rooms are spacious and clean. Adults pool area is quiet, there are plenty of activities should you wish to take part. It’s a 5 minute stroll to the beach however you can jump on one of the buggies that go around the complex to take you there or anywhere else you would like to go. Food is excellent and there’s always staff around to help if you can’t find anything. Entertainment at night is good however this year we found that the sunset sessions at the Beach Bar were a bit repetitive. Usually we have the occasional live musicians, but not this year. Staff are very friendly and attentive and can’t do enough for you. The complex is always clean and tidy and there’s a variety of bars and restaurants to choose from . The reception team are very welcoming however they did forget to give us our welcoming drink on arrival! The customer relations team are always on hand to sort out only queries or problems, So in conclusion it’s a great place to stay.
