A disappointed experience at all, especially if you say it is Marriott’s.
We were having the traditional room with King bed, the shower curtain is only until half of the calf leg, it makes the water anywhere in the bathroom. The toilet flush was not stronger enough, you will have to flush second time or even third time to say bye to popo. The bed is small at all, I don’t think its a King size bed. The TV doesn’t work to cast your YouTube or Netflix and its said it can. Anyway, it have nespresso machine so you still can have some of the coffee.
I would say people who saw this review, thats not necessarily to pay extra one-third for Marriott, its nothing on standard, just go for xxx IN in nearby, much more cheaper, bathroom is separating dry space from moist space, and includes breakfast. I paid almost $500 and just satisfied for cups of coffee.

Fabulous hidden gem to stay at!
We stay at this hotel all the time, usually for three nights per trip. Love its closeness to area restaurants, parks and the river. Excellent staff and service also.

This was an amazing place. The room was full of little amenities - the coffee in the room was good, the beds were perfect, and even the shampoo provided was good. On top of that, the pool was a treasure - Jacuzzi, individual saunas, and an amazing weight room. The entire price of a room is worth it just for the pool.
The amazing experience was only just slightly soured by the rudeness of the assistant manager at check in - but hopefully he can be better trained so as not to interfere with the amazing experience that is this hotel.
Whenever I am through this way again, I will definitely be staying here.

4 Star feel Sauna Jacuzzi Pool Bistro 3hr fr GTA
Not officially 4★ but LOOKS & FEELS like one – modern, crisp, calming. QUIET ROOMS / COMFY BEDS / SOFT CLEAN SHEETS. Service was EXCELLENT – staff clearly take pride in their work. BEST SURPRISE → TWO ELECTRIC SAUNAS right beside the pool + hot tub (not even mentioned online!) + a GAMES ROOM with a pool table we found last minute. FOOD = SHOCKINGLY REASONABLE for a Marriott (maybe that’s Sarnia). Had a tasty EGGS BENEDICT – slightly overcooked but I didn’t specify, so fair enough. Tiny hiccup → some OLD MENUS with prices off by $1, but no big deal when everything else was this good. BONUS → RELAXING 1PM LATE CHECKOUT. PRICE? Just $140 CAD/night – an absolute STEAL compared to what you’d pay north of Toronto for something far less nice. AREA HIGHLIGHTS → soft-sand BEACH, FREE downtown ART GALLERY, quirky little OIL MUSEUM. ALL IN ALL → FANTASTIC, AFFORDABLE GETAWAY from Toronto – already planning to return!

The Insignia Hotel is the epitome of customer service excellence. The staff are so warm and welcoming.. every time I book, I can’t wait to come back. From the great location to the furnishings to the amenities but, mostly, the amazing staff are why I just love it here.

It's a cool spot downtown in Sarnia. The place is modern and well-designed. The restaurant and pool are awesome, and the gym rocks. The billiards room is nice too. But the room was small and felt cramped. We couldn't get a dinner reservation, which ****** since they promised us an 8 pm table. Breakfast was good though, and I liked the free berries with the Danish. As a Marriott-Bonvoy member, I wish they'd given us a free hour extension for checkout and more than two water bottles.

The staff and hotel were very nice. The bathrooms are extremely small, but it is an older hotel that’s been remodeled so understandably there are some limitations there. Handicap accessibility could’ve been better marked as I had an elderly visitor who struggled to get up the front stairs. So close to the waterfront downtown and a great staff and restaurants.
