Old building but has its own taste. Staffs were friendly and the service was good.

Decent place... A little dated but clean. Pricey, but given remote location no real alternatives

It could be better if there are coffee machine or complimentary breakfast in the hotel

The stay offered an amazing view of Banff National Park and the surrounding mountains, which was truly breathtaking. However, the rooms were quite old and not well-maintained. Despite this, the incredible view made it worth overlooking the condition of the rooms. The food was also very expensive, likely due to this being the only accommodation within the national park, with all other options located in Banff and Canmore. If they lowered their prices, this place would be highly recommended.

One night stop is good, food service is limited and expensive, room is good but a little bit dark in TV and coffee area.

Everything else is okay, the hotel has no signal, I think at least there must be WI-FI, and then you have to go to the bar to get it and you need a password, which I think is not very convenient.

My good nature prevents me from expressing my frank opinion. Were it not for the location, i would drive a few hundred km to find alternate accommodation. But it’s been a long day. Tomorrow will be very early as we depart as soon as humanly possible. As a mariner might say, the anchorage is inexpensive, but give this place a wide berth. With investment, this could be a gem.

We were driving from Banff and Canmore on the way to Jasper and it was good location to stay there.

The only thing that this place has going for itself, is that it's in the middle of nowhere without any other option for a stop over. At best it's a motel but it tries to pass as a resort. There is no cell reception and I have a better WiFi network at home. Trying to get some kind of connection was painful. But not as painful as the prices at the 'restaurant' and the pub. You'd think that you're dining at the Waldorf Astoria based on the price but food quality is on par with a hole-in-the-wall street-food joint kiosk in the city.

My wife and i went to the Crossing on August 17th for our anniversary. The resort is very rustic but it was nice and clean. We had great service from check in to check out. We enjoyed a night of pool in the pub with the wonderful staff and had a really fun time. Nadiia in the restaurant was amazing. She went above and beyond with her service, and was she so friendly and made us feel welcome . We will definitely return.

I stayed at The Crossing Resort twice in July - first for one night with out of country friends on the way from Jasper to Calgary, and second for 3 nights with a Calgary hiking group of 14 people. Communication re booking a group for rooms and meals was excellent, and the group rate for rooms was attractive. The buildings are old and a bit dark and dated, but the rooms are clean, showers hot with good pressure, and beds are comfortable. The grounds have been upgraded since I was there many years ago, with lovely plantings of flowers and trees, and numerous places to sit outdoors - round concrete tables and seats in front of the units amongst the flowers and trees, a large pergola behind the motel, and some picnic tables in the trees. We ate at both the Mt Wilson restaurant (buffet breakfast, buffet supper one night and menu the other nights) and the Lounge. All meals were very good and service was excellent with very pleasant servers and bartenders. Meals are expensive, as they are in any remote area where everything has to be brought in over a long distance. WHAT REALLY STOOD OUT WERE THE PEOPLE - BOTH STAFF AND MANAGEMENT!! On the first night of our second stay the Jasper fire moved into the Jasper townsite and several smaller fires erupted in the back country sending many campers and hikers South to the resort. We awoke to moderate smoke and decided to take most of our belongings with us hiking that day in case we couldn't return to the resort, leaving only cold food and drink in our room fridges. We didn't check out but left our keys at the office just in case. There was a communication error and we returned to find our fridge cleaned out - all food and drink removed. This was reported to the office - they provided a large sandwich, veggie tray, and fruit for our lunch the next day. Following that, our removed food and drinks were located and returned to us as well. That evening the Resort Manager sought us out at dinner and comped us a lovely bottle of wine for our inconvenience. At the time, we were not aware that many of the staff had been up much of the night before - they had opened the restaurant and store up to people fleeing the fire. It was impressive that we were treated so well by staff that were likely overtired and stressed. Add to all this, is the lovely setting and mountain views, and lots of hiking within an hour's drive from the resort. I will not hesitate to stay at The Crossing Resort again.

Resort is a big stretch for this old, unrenovated roadside motel. At $400 per night it is hugely overpriced, as were the mundane meals in the restaurant. Several of the staff were out and out rude, and when challenged on their behaviour their attitude was pretty much f u. Unfortunately the motel is pretty much the only place to stay in a spectacular location with easy access to fabulous hikes. I would never stay here again if there was anywhere else to choose from.
